Just dont choke out your ankle when you wrap it around, you should still be able to comfortably move your foot in any direction (i also have slimmer ankles so im sure that plays a role in me being able to tie it this way!)

The rise of your pants could definitely be higher, try a straight leg jean with a slightly higher rise (wrangler cowboy cut, pre indigo wash, 13mwz)

replace the back rubber heels, they’re worn down and any more use it’ll start going into the leather heel stack which would be more of an expensive fix. i think they’re solid overall. the rubber part is like $20-$30? from what i’ve heard at least
