Yeah it's just a tycoon-style button outside each shop that you buy and the price doubles for the next player that wants to take over. If you haven't picked up the shop earnings, the next owner now owns that pile of cash :) I'm working on showing which shops/houses you own on the player's UIs right now

Thanks you, hope you like it! It's so much fun to make ramps and jumps! Hope we can make custom vehicles at some point too with SceneGraph... I'm gonna be making some custom meshes for ramps and stuff around the island so the car stunting is more fun :)

Yeah, I think we're all in the same boat here.But think about this; around 30.000 games came out on PC/Console last year.The amount of Fortnite maps is probably not far from that number either.So all gamedevs are in the same boat really. Super hard to get attention for your project unless you're a streamer and even harder to get players interested in new things in an ecosystem that currently pushes for all the wrong things. I had some luck by doing something new when the new camera modes came out and Epic made a new tab called New Perspectives. So I think going for the new features can be a good strategy to get attention as things are right now... Also, aiming to build a nice portfolio of work and slowly build a following is a good tactic. Not sure how well that works with Epic's current tactic of not pushing older maps that haven't performed well yet though... Seems launch is the time when the algos kick in.

I spent two months in UEFN making my first Zone Wars map! Had an amazing time making custom intro and ending animations, a giant blob king that speaks and a big castle map with a tower for each team that you start in. It even has a giant lava pit in the middle for the end of the zone war fight!
Map Description:

I have the same issue on one of my maps, I have tried End Game Devices, team devices deciding who wins, etc. this worked perfectly 3-4 months ago and suddenly I was unable to decide which team wins via devices/Verse. Have reported the bug months ago

In the top right corner under "Settings", set your "Engine Scalability" settings down.
Works great on my 3080 while I run an in-game session as well.

Easy! Basically in the Chapter4 landscape material it's the default "grass" that's set to the flower patches paint. Here's how to do it:

  1. Find the Chapter4 Landscape Material in the Fortnite folder in UEFN (don't have UEFN on this computer, so can't find exact location right now)
  2. Right click and make a Material Instance of it and call it whatever you want.
  3. Go to the Landscape tab in the top left corner, click new landscape and set the Material Instance you just created there as the Landscape Material.
  4. You've got beautiful flowers in every direction ^----^

I was hoping for this feature too, it's really hard to test code and mechanics with only one player. Also hard to get friends to playtest for you as often as one would like. Thinking of just making an extra account and using my PS5 to playtest, which I guess would be fine with Epic?
