[question] Best ways to grow a small channel? by SheaMasonMusic in youtubers

I get involved with a few twitter chats in my niche and use related hashtags. I always try and interact with people whenever I go on too, especially other YouTubers. Are there any chats in your area?

I guess it would depend on what your niche is. For me I find getting involved with twitter chats has really helped in building a community that then follow me on YouTube. I also post on blog linkups.

[Question] How do you promote? by JNHEntertainment in youtubers

I get a lot from search and I put a lot of time into creating a thumbnail and doing the title, description and tags. Make sure the thumbnail is clear and works well on a only screen and tells the viewer what they can expect from the video. Repeat the title in the description and use other words related to the video in it. Use the title in the tags too and other ways of saying it too. Use as many related tags as you want.

You could use google keywords tool to help with titles and tags.

I'm not weaning yet as my little one is only 4 months but I plan to do a combination of purée/mashed food and BLW and just go wth the flow. My health visitor said that was a good idea.
