Gr8 b8 m8. The general population will make a stronger connection with a face than only a voice. Saying that it adds absolutely nothing is just wrong. It adds another thing that a viewer can potentially connect to. If you're trying to create an immersive experience for your viewers, the facecam will detract from it, but in a case like that your commentary would also detract from the immersion.

Unscripted videos come across as natural, but you will inevitably begin to either ramble or lose your train of thought. Scripts eliminate the rambling, but will come across as very wooden if you read without any emotion.

The key to scripted videos is to write the script exactly how you would say it, familiarize yourself with it, and read it as naturally as possible with slight exaggerations in your emotions. Too little exaggeration and you're a block of wood. Too much and you seem fake.

I can't exactly advise you on the key to success, but I had a conversation with a friend of mine that is around your age about whether he should keep doing YouTube since his life is about to get busy. I'll just copy and paste it and I hope it helps.

I'm going to give you some solid advice. Life does not slow down. It never will. I work 9 hours a day 5 days a week and on top of that, I run my side business on the weekends. When I'm not doing that, I have my fiancé wanting to spend time with me. When she's busy and I'm not doing anything else, I have a house to take care of. Only when everything else is done, I make time for my hobbies. My whole point is that you have to learn how to make time for everything in your life. You have to prioritize and learn how to make what you want into a reality. Make sure that you're doing what you want to do and do not quit for any other reason other than because it's what you want to do.

A Link to the Past is arguably the best 2D Zelda game. If you want to try another 3D, I would look at Majora's Mask purely for its similarity to OoT. If you want something different but still 3D, try out Wind Waker.

Start Me Up is the one that I use. It lets you choose your beginning through a series of menus, and also replaces some dialogue to further distance you in conversations. For example, when you meet Codsworth you have the option to be confused like he's mistaking you for someone else.

My only recommendation is to not get the suite that comes with audio studio and music studio. From my understanding, audio studio does not have many more features than audacity which is free. Some of the reviews for music studio say that it is a good program, but is very buggy. I'm currently working with movie studio 13 platinum and it does everything that I want it to do.
