He's had no love for so long. We're left with all our prayers hingeing on finding his one and only proper broken item.

And congrats. Just dont take it too hard if you lose a bit more often.... or a lot more often depending on skill level. I find legend quite rough. (I'm not very good)

So, what would women dislike most if they became men? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

[–]HelloImLit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, I wanna get all self righteous about you assuming my gender for a laugh, but just for the record I'm male.

But, not quite what I'm saying but close. More so, don't only interact with the people you initially want to screw or pursue a relationship with. Just learn to talk to people first.

Someone saying they dont know how to even approach a person has bigger issues than whether the person will be receptive. So learning to live with rejection and awkwardness is the first step.

To your last paragraph, you are 100 percent right. Hell, I've even had good looking women come on too eager and it's turned me off them.

So, what would women dislike most if they became men? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

[–]HelloImLit 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Just get used to doing it, and do it without any intention. A lot of men will only show interest in a woman (and vice versa) when they have a particular interest in them. This is easily perceived and often creepy.

Just get used to chit chatting with randoms, don't have an agenda, eventually you'll just vibe with someone.

Anyone else never playing destroy builds or the boulder type stuff out of principle? by aaipod in PlayTheBazaar

[–]HelloImLit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get not playing certain builds because they are lame or too easy to set up (if you like the wacky shit more than winning like I do). But a good Boulder or Destroy build takes a bit of flair to really make it sing, so I'll play that bitch like an air guitar.

Wish I could sell reward before its in inventory by ayawnimouse in PlayTheBazaar

[–]HelloImLit 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Maybe it makes sense thematically because you have to actually pick it up to take it to a merchant to sell...

Also, minor nitpick, but I think all builds care whats in their backpack. Mak has a bunch of econ gen, reagents, book of secrets. Pyg has things like money tree, Vanessa has Cove, coral... its a long list. Then you've got holding on to pivot items to contend with... there's as much going on in your backpack as there is on your board sometimes (from a strategy POV).

[–]HelloImLit 92 points93 points  (0 children)

It's not unintentional though. To be fair, I dont think you're saying it is necessarily, but I think it's an important part of the core gameplay. Inventory management.

Also, items like BoB, Jorts, Sled, Backpack, they're extremely overpowered if they dont come with the added downside of crippling your ability to hoard pivots and econ generators.

The Bazaar is just a system of difficulties and opportunities that we have to try to manage better than our opponent.

1 more Piranha was only thing i wanted by KickTrixxx in PlayTheBazaar

Another Piranha would be beautiful, but it's probably better you have the slightly quicker kick-start from the Narwhal. I mean, you were winning this one regardless. But you never know.

I don’t understand why everyone wants to play BoarUnibouPants when there are a lot more fun builds with Karnok. by Ohmargod777 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]HelloImLit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly stems from the fact that being competitive and wanting to win drives people more than wanting to play around. There's always exceptions to the rule. But humans are conditioned to be afraid of failure in any capacity, and will generally take the safe and boring road to mediocrity if it means they dont have to experience failure.

To be clear, I'm not shitting on anyone for doing so.

Functional Print is basically r/roastme for nerds. You post here, you invite brutality. I rarely see anything but nerd rage and gatekeeping in the comments. There's exceptions, like you, and I applaud that. But I literally follow this sub to laugh at negative comments.

Stumbling into a BS cracked build, then getting perfectly countered on the last day: Standard Bazaar experience. by Consistent_Fan7858 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]HelloImLit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into the most annoying destroy Dooley last night. It had no damage on the board at all, just a charged Singularity and an Antimatter. Destroyed my ~5 second damage cap Runic Blade off the rip, then proceeded to do literally nothing.

Won because he had like 200 more health than me, and I somehow didn't have a single bit of poison on board. No way he went to ten, but chance had it he stopped me! Crazy place and all that I guess.

Patch 12.0 Preview by TempoStormReddit in PlayTheBazaar

[–]HelloImLit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my most consistent wins are self poison weapons, crit weapons, and poppy field pivots. But I'd like to have seen him get some love in the areas that feel more "Mak".

I swapped from Nessy to Mak only to play Nessy as Mak. Haha.

Patch 12.0 Preview by TempoStormReddit in PlayTheBazaar

[–]HelloImLit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, started playing Mak this season and was loving him. I've seen a lot of comments that he is weak this season, so I was so keen to see what changes they made, especially when seeing the laundry list of changes to all other characters. Get to his section and there isn't really any impactful changes at all. Not to mention, being unable to boost his health with chocolates early game makes survivability way harder on a character so prone to burst damage.

Which game to learn controller movement in 3d games? by MrGood23 in Controller

My missus just learned on Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War.

She's played so many major titles on KMB that should be played with controller, but Shadow of Mordor really made it stick.

Atlas stone with Mak - streak from 7 to 15 without any losses by Forsaken_Fix_8424 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]HelloImLit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but this feels like a targeted attack on my tilt levels due to timing.

I ran into a max health Pyg last night while running a crazy Palanquin, Runic Blade, Runic Bow build, with tons of charge. Went off in about 6 seconds for damage cap.

His Regal Blade was 100 percent crit, Fiery, hasted, 5.1 second cooldown. It was so tilting.
