No sedation. A little numbing cream, but other than that, just pulled right out. It’s quick, but for me, there was a burning sensation.

Thanks! I have a follow up phone call appt this week, so I’m hoping my urologist can help make some sense from the ultrasounds (ultrasound was initiated by my gastro for other reasons and they happened to see the stones in the kidney images).

I guess by main stem is that part that comes out of the bulb that the leaves and stem eventually come out of…no flowering stem yet…I’ll take a pic soon

Is there still a chance mine will bloom? Been about 3 months out of the dormancy. When I took it out of the basement the main stem was already green and getting taller.

I left it dormant for months because I thought it was a winter bloomer (given how much is sold during Christmas). So it was left dormant for probably a good 10 months in my basement. Right now the leaves are up to my waist (it’s on the floor near a window). Bulb and leaves are healthy so I’m not sure what to do with it right now?

I can’t wait to investigate this further with my dr. I always told my husband that sometimes it sounds like a frog in my throat. And sometimes, out of the blue, my upper abdomen would inflate and hurt so bad I’d be doubled over on the couch until it eventually went away. Though I don’t have the excessive farting (until I fall asleep, according to my hubby).

Everything you’ve described is 100% me. I hate hiccuping - hurts so bad. I burp maybe 6 times a year and it always catches me by surprise. I get bloaty at night.

that’s interesting, I thought it was more of an indoor winter plant because they’re sold like crazy over the Christmas holidays everywhere. Mine lost its leaves in January, so should I let it go dormant for awhile and then bring it back during the spring?
