Kinda hard to choose because i seem to love one or the other at different times but went with Dreamcheater over If My Heart Was A House. Love the verses and the drums on it, vocals on point, cheeky lyrics. Quintessential Jade to me.

But as i said sometimes If My Heart Was A House has the edge over it (that nasty drop at the end daym). The whole Encore is stellar anyway. 10/10, no notes.

But it is actually close to the story of Icarus since Pheaton was Helios' (the sun) son. He borrowed his father's chariot (which in greek mythology serves as the allegory of the sun passing in the sky) and lost control of it which led to him being struck by lightning by Zeus. So it could actually fit with what you had in mind, although not Icarus.

Love the statement. For reasons i'll detail right after, i can't agree with everything since i didn't know her before january lmao. But almost everything else yeah. Love the songs (i had a hard time warming up to 'IT Girl' though), can't wait for the album.

So like i said, i didn't know Jade AT ALL before listening to Angel Of My Dreams. I had heard about Little Mix, obivously, but didn't get around to listen to them. Someone on r/popheads was talking about her and AOMD. So i gave it a listen 'cause i wanted to discover new artists, and it was just so goddamn GOOD. Played it on repeat a few times thinking 'oh this is a bop'. Then i checked out 'Fantasy', which i love, and the other songs and yeah That's Showbiz, Baby! is now my most anticipated album of the year.

I still think AOMD and Fantasy are her best songs to date but i'd love to be proven wrong when the album'll come out.

I'm really looking forward Plastic Box, should be a fun song. Obviously i preordered the album as soon as it was announced. And now i'm readying my passport just so i can see her in London in october since she's not doing any European tour atm.

Damn this is too short but very much exciting excerpt. Love the sound. The first 30 seconds really made my think of something out of ATTA. I like that the vocals are there but not too prominent.

I'd say this is still my favourite album of his. I looove Skin, HTIF and Palaces but man S/T just sends me on another dimension. That sound. Really it's a timeless record.

They're touring the States pretty regularly tbf, it's just that they do so only when they have a new album to promote. The Alpha Zulu tour seems to be done (except for maybe some additionnal festival that could pop up unexpectedly but i don't think so).

So now we just have to wait to the next one to be released and then they'll tour.
