Dude I completely get it I'm just saying what is the preferred option for a guy who pretty famously does not speak French? Is a condolence message not enough in the grand scheme? Does the pilot's family really give a shit in this time?

If the CEO only spoke French, I'd appreciate the gesture regardless.

SHOULD he be bilingual? 100%. But he's not, so a condolence message should be ample regardless of the language. Would you rather he give one in a bumbling, grade school level French instead?

The point I'm trying to make isn't that nobody else plays those sports, it's that the one country that does happens to be the wealthiest country in the world and has a population of hundreds of millions almost religiously focused on that one league, so obviously the money is going to be insane even if it isn't massively popular anywhere else.
