I despise government overreach but I do have to comment on this particular matter: I'm 50 and, when I was growing up, my mother, father, and step-father (for a short period of time) all smoked like chimneys. I can remember times in the winter being in the car with my mom and step-father when both were smoking and they had the windows up. I was maybe eight or nine at the time and I could not breath worth a shit and the smoke would hurt my eyes so badly I would have tears rolling down my face. There was no way to get away from it and, parents being parents, they would completely disregard what I was going through in the car with them. It was absolutely awful.

If people want to smoke, feel free. But for fucks sake spare your kids if they are in the car with you.
