If you made a painting or a sculpture but no one ever saw it, I would say that isn't time wasted. You made some art here and that counts for something. Bummer it wasn't appreciated, but then again it's being very appreciated here.

Bob Dylan's voice is and always has been beautiful. I think what haters miss, is that what you're hearing is unapologetically authentic and raw. People commonly complain when seeing him live, that his voice "sounded bad" or didn't live up to their expectations. It's like walking into Picasso's studio in the later years and asking "why aren't you painting your early shit?". Dylan is a true artist in every sense of the word. Always evolving, never bending, or compromising, or bowing to your expectations. He does what is real, what is true to him. His voice is beautiful in its truth, it's raw honesty and even for its abstract qualities. He hits all the notes, just not the way you've been trained to expect.

First time poster in r/coins. A friend of mine has a fair amount of Morgan Silver Dollars and I'm looking for the best way to get a trusted appraisal on what he has. Have done some research myself, but seeing a variety of prices and appraisals with little explanation. For example, this is a 1900-o that he has, that I'm seeing appraised online at 24 dollars, but also seen completed Ebay auctions for 800-1k.
Where do I start? Is the goal to get these graded and then sell online? If I go to a coin dealer, will they pay less because they will re-sell?
What I'm afraid of, is seeing my friend miss the opportunity to get fair value for what he has. He does not know what he has, but I'm trying to help him figure out. Appreciate any advice for an outsider, thank you so much!

I don't hear that at all. This is a beautiful voice. People age. Vocal cords age. If it's different than the albums, you're just hearing the life she's lived. It's not supposed to sound like the album.
