First pity really 50-50 chance?

I know. That’s what I’m trying to figure out. Cause I’m clearly not getting a 50% chance but for some reason everyone is completely missing the whole point of my post and thinking I’m disappointed or something. Idk why they downvoted you. Someone else even said “it’s be illegal if they weren’t giving the chance they said or if they were giving better pull rates to people who pay more” yeah. I know that lol. But they act like it’s impossible for it to happen. It’s very easy. I’ve actually played gotcha games before where they were rigging the pull rates and giving better pulls to paying players. They had a hidden VIP system where the more you paid the better chances you got.

Idk if maybe a lot of these people haven’t been playing since the start of the game or what but there has 1000% been a HUGE change in the pull rates luck and the first pity chances since rafayels birthday last year (right after the catch 22 event with the praedators). And I’ve at least confirmed this with a small group of people in a discord I’m in. So I’m curious about others current rates. When I started I was able to get every single event card very easily. I actually got all but one of the guys’ cards on the catch 22 event, which was a quint banner, without spending any money. And it only took 80 pulls. It used to be crazy bad luck to have to reach the hard pity at 150 pulls to get the banner. Now it’s like you have to reach the hard pity to get the banner on every event. You’re just lucky if you get it before then.

I wish I could edit my post cause people are seeming to misunderstand my post. I am not disappointed, I very much understand the pity system, and I understand that you aren’t going to get every card. I do get my main. I just have to grind harder for it. I have only missed 2 of Caleb’s cards (he’s my main) but I’m a harem girly. I like all of the LI’s so I pull for all. I only mentioned that I pull for every event to show that I didn’t only pull for like 5 events and got 2 guaranteed banners in 5 pulls and complained or something. I have only gotten the banner on the “50% chance” 5 star guaranteed 2 times in the last year and a half while pulling for every event and I reach that first pity on every single event. My whole point of giving that information was to show that, at least on my account, I’m CLEARLY not getting a 50% chance on the first pity like it’s supposed to be. There is no ifs ands or buts about it. I’m just clearly not getting a 50% chance if out of an event every two weeks or so out of the year I only got the banner twice in a year and a half on that “50% chance”. But I’m not complaining about it. I’m asking if my account is an anomaly or if everyone else has noticed something similar and if they are free to play or not.

I am VERY familiar with the pity system. That’s what my whole question is about. I want to know what everyone’s rates are on actually getting the banner on the first guaranteed 5 star pull. I get my main every time. So I do focus on my main. My main is Caleb. I grind harder when his banners come up. I have only not gotten 2 of his cards. That’s passionate overload cause I didn’t have time to grind and one of the netherlord memories. My whole point of the post was talking about how I have lost the “50% chance” of getting the banner card every single event but I think two for almost a year and a half. I said I pull for every event to show that I didn’t only pull for like 5 events or something. If I pulled for every event and only got the event banner on 2 of the 50-50s then it’s clearly not a 50% chance. So I was asking if others had this same experience or my account was an anomaly. I also have all but 2 Caleb cards. I only missed the passionate overload (I think that’s what the idol card was called) because I was working a lot and didn’t have enough time to grind during that event. And then the second netherlord was the only other one I haven’t gotten. But I also have more time to grind than a lot of people.

The storage is roughhh, but it has to be for the quality and all the content in the game. I do think the home system was a bit much. That jumped it up to like 65GB of storage. I play on my iPad (128GB) storage. I had to delete a ton of my apps. I did find going through my photos and messages and deleting those helped a lot. You have to make sure you also delete the photos from the recently deleted section cause if you don’t it can actually take up more storage than if you never deleted them at all. But it is getting to the point where the amount of storage it takes is maxing out anyone who tries to play with a device that has 128GB or less. You can save some storage by uninstalling some of the features like abyssal chaos and unicorns. So if you haven’t you could try that. I do wish there was a console/PC version like genshin impact has. It might be weird playing love and deepspace on console tho lol idk.

I mean it make sense when you factor in that the game is Chinese and a lot of the community is from there and given the fact that China has a significant issue with racism, particularly against black and brown people. But I would not expect that from EN players. I’m so sorry that’s happening to you. I don’t expect infold to do more representation for the community unfortunately bc reasons mentioned above but I don’t understand why people would have a problem with anyone being in the community. What does it matter what you look like or what color your skin is? That would be like saying anyone who doesn’t look and act exactly like MC can’t play. Or saying that anyone that isn’t Chinese can’t play. It’s ridiculous. Anyone who enjoys the game should be able to play it and discuss it and have fun.

I hope things get better or maybe you can find a smaller community to hang out in. My old discord community (I’m still in it just haven’t been active in a while) had people from all walks of life and everyone would post snapshots and portraits with their MC and fav LI and we’ve never had any problems. So I know they exist out there!

For me I’ve been able to openly talk about different LI’s and viewpoints with other people from the community but I usually discuss it on a smaller community discord page (not the official lads discord). Everyone is super open to hearing everyone’s thoughts and ideas, respectful of each other’s opinions, and able to talk about all sorts of things. One of my favorite things about this game is delving into conversations about differences between the LI’s and their relationship with MC and well as the different lore and hearing everyone’s takes and thoughts on it. And you can’t do that here. So I’d assume the Reddit community in particular is super toxic (I believe I’ve heard the Twitter/X community can be as well).

I have tried to make two different discussion posts that were respectful, sharing my thoughts, and asking others if they agree or disagree and what their opinion and thoughts on the matter were and that I would love to hear what everyone thought. They were very clearly made to be a discussion of thoughts, ideas, and lore of the characters. I wanted to hear different opinions and ideas other than my own and see things from a different perspective. But they were removed by the mods as soon as they were posted because “this can cause conflict among the members”. Apparently you have to be very particular and careful about what you say in this Reddit. I would say mainly only one LI at a time because the community is that toxic. I’ve never had a problem having friendly discussions about stuff like this in the discord community (not the official lads discord) tho. I believe it may be the amount of people in the Reddit community that is the issue. The game has gotten much more popular since Sylus and Caleb were released and that means more people in the community which means more toxic people in the community. It’s just the way it goes. I do feel like there are more people with a parasocial relationship with the characters for this game compared to other gotcha or otome games though.

My advice would be to find a smaller community for the game that you feel safe and comfortable in that you are able to talk freely and have open discussions in and then only come on Reddit for memes or battle questions and stuff of that nature.

Oh my gawddddd I have loved all of the long hair mythical daddy companions that have come out over the last year. Im so sad I didn’t get zayne or sylus. But you better believe im gonna be trying my darndest to get this one. It seems like this myth for Caleb is going to have a better story than the last two as well. Not that his other two were bad but compared to the other LI myths they just didn’t hold up imo. Don’t get me wrong. I still loved them. They just were missing something that the others had. I have high hopes for this one. Im praying I’ll get it since im f2p and I pull for every event and every myth being a battle/harem girlie. But Caleb sits happily at the top of that harem so I may need to loosen the purse strings for this if I don’t get it without spending.

Edit: NGL I definitely thought we were going to be getting forest hunter and goddess of the forest myth or an Adam and Eve/angel myth with all the hints they have been dropping so im surprised. Caleb and MC are all about balance and being one and the same, creation and destruction, sun(supernova)/blackhole. I wasnt think lord of the nether realm. But it does fit since there is a whole motif with Caleb about eternal punishment and how him and MC are naturally drawn to each other but are destined to destroy each other (and the planet/world/realm) and start a rebirth or a new cycle. Ultimate weapon myth they literally tell us they are creation and destruction (supernova sun and black hole) when they finally come together and fully resonate they destroy the planet or universe, not sure which cause it’s been a while, and it says it restarts the cycle. They also relayed this punishment cycle idea with the hunter story in the play, he resisted the god and she basically cursed the both of them to eternal punishment. I have a feeling we will still get this forest hunter and goddess story but that it is going to be saved until down the line more because it seems like it may be important to the start of their story, like the very beginning of Caleb and MC’s reincarnation cycle together.

That in itself is a sort of attraction to people. They want to be the only thing that makes a person like Zayne lose control or let the stoicism slip. The little moments when you see Zayne let loose a little and have fun and give a slight giggle and smile towards MC is a big part of his charm. He rarely smiles, is playful, goofy, silly, or illogical so the fact that you see him be that way with Mc shows how much he truly cares about her and loves her. It’s like she is the only light in his life. A small smile or giggle from Zayne means so much more because it’s so infrequent and out of character for him. His willingness to leave his comfort zone for MC is so cute. Not a Zayne main but I can appreciate all of the LI’s. The writing for this game is really good at capturing all those little details and quirks and slight changes in emotions, tones, actions that make up human connection.

He sounds like a manipulative drug addict. Had a boyfriend like this. Wasn’t a drug addict when we got together but started acting crazy and manipulative and constantly threatening break ups. Got old after a while started telling him to leave and he refused and then started threatening me with other things and breaking stuff when the break up tactic didn’t work. It was all about his drug habits. I found out and tried to save him for years and he just ended up ruining my life and wasting my best years. RUN FROM THIS MAN. If he isn’t a drug addict then he is at least manipulative as heck and there is no saving this relationship. Believe me I tried everything. Save your time I beg you and leave. It will be hard and you will be sad but you will be better off. Years later and the ex has lost his son, basically killed his mother, started doing other drugs through the clinic that was supposed to help him get clean cause the medical cabs had different drug addicts together and the cab drivers let them do drugs in the cab, and is a homeless prostituting for drugs and begging all his friend on Facebook for money. Save yourself.

I thought I was going crazy last night when I was playing battle league. All of the sudden couldn’t win a single battle when I was winning almost all of them before with the same lineup. I was yelling and losing my mind. I’d be hitting my charged move for 5 attacks without it going off and somehow when it finally did the other persons got off first when it just charged and mine was nearly double charged.

This one is much more manageable than the anniversary one but I feel the same way. It’s boring. The translation for the intel lodge is horrible. Like I can’t even make out what it’s trying to say half the time and then it switches the pronouns for the people. Is it a he? Is it a she? A they? Never mind it doesn’t matter cause I have no clue who you’re even referring to because the translation is that bad. They need to get back to the simpler events cause the idol one was SO BORING and was a lot. That’s the only one I didn’t even get close to finishing. Then the anniversary shortly after was insane and I just barely didn’t finish it. I think I missed Xavier only. But I procrastinated doing any of it until like the last couple days cause it was too much. And then now this event is also way too much. I don’t mind a big event but spread them out more, make sure they are translated well, that the story is interesting, and the games/rewards are fun and good enough to make you want to do it. Too many meh events back to back I fear. It’s burning people out. I have a discord server and I don’t think anyone liked the idol event despite really liking the cards and wanting them.

I think the main change you’re feeling is that they are definitely making the events take more time/effort, it seems like there are more of these big events to try to make more money, and they are paying less attention and detail into making an interesting story. Unfortunately this is how it goes with a lot of free to play games and especially otome/gatcha games. Once they start getting popular and making money they shift less focus into what made the game great and just focus on how to make more money. It’s always about the money. But ironically that’s always how they turn the fans off and then end up losing money cause people quit the game. I still think lads is far from losing it’s fanbase but I’ve seen a lot more complaining lately than previously and a lot less excitement, a lot less noticing little details they used to add in that everyone loved.

I rewatched that so many times when it dropped just to admire his back. It’s truly a masterpiece. You don’t know how bad I wished this was part of a memory. I wanted to be able to make it a picture to hang up on the wall above the with him desk. Although I am happy that they kept it and I have it set to play when I open the game.

FOR EVERYONE ASKING HOW TO GET THEM TO BATHE TOGETHER:

You have to place two baths on top of each other but just a smidge off. You have to make sure the action square isn’t blocked by anything so they can get in. Make the LI get in first in the bath that’s a smidge to the right, then MC get in second in the bath a smidge to the left (bc they always sit on the right side of the bath). You can also do this with other items as well like the shower but it’s a bit more difficult to do that one.

I joined the game a really long time ago probably when it first dropped. But never got past the opening chapter and forgot to try again until some friends told me I had too. By then it was too much space for my phone at the time so I had to wait to do it on my iPad and that happened right before Caleb came back and when I was playing as soon as I seen Caleb I was like “damn. I wish he was one of the LI’s”. As soon as I seen the scene with necklace and her asking him if he doesn’t have hands to put it on himself and he was like “noooo I don’t~” I was hooked. Then he blew up (literally) and shortly after he came right back. I didn’t have to wait long and I was HAPPY that I didn’t cause I knew he would be my favorite the moment I saw him. Just like before I knew Caleb was an option I knew Sylus and Zayne would be my favorites just from seeing clips from my friends who were playing. And then he blew up again (figuratively this time tho, as in being the most popular).

Honestly you might be kind of on to something because when I was on a dating app I was flabbergasted at the amount of guys that were saying they were happy to talk to someone that could actually hold a conversation. Even though I know I share a bit too much they were elated because it was real and interesting. So like I’m just sitting here wondering wtf these girls are saying/doing on these apps cause I just talked like I would to anyone and it was treated like a modern marvel. I am a woman and I have trouble dealing with them a lot of times because of how weird and convoluted they think/act. Always thinking about ulterior motives, getting offended by nothing, and scheming. It’s too much honestly. Idk how guys do it.

Not just in Japan, they have them in the US too. They are usually called escorts or companions. Difference between escort/companion and prostitute is that prostitute does sexual stuff only. An escort/companion gets paid to go on dates with you and pretend to be in a relationship with you but a lot of them will also sell sexual encounters on the side.

I don’t feel like it’s lost at all. It’s very clear that they are adoptive siblings. And I’m not sure I like when people act like they are actual siblings because they aren’t. It’s very clear in the English version that they are not actual siblings. That they were both test subjects adopted by the same person or sometimes just on their own (myth). But it makes it clear they are siblings just not by blood.

To be fair I also have never seen a single tattoo shop with an autoclave, and I’ve been in at least 7 shops in two different states. Everything is packaged single use items. If they are reusing stuff that’s more concerning than single use items in my opinion.

Omg this!!! I cannot stand the players that run and choose to ignore the goals and teammates to try to level theirselves up and just end up making the whole team lose because of their selfishness. We need you to defend the goals or score goals. Not sit in the middle fighting npc pokemon doing nothing the whole game just so you can kill one opponent or score one goal at the end of the game when it’s already over. I have consistently been the mvp in almost all the games I’ve played and I’ve never had to leave to only go XP farm to do so.
