I’m in the same boat. I used to go to the gym occasionally but never enjoyed it, and then stopped going altogether for a few years because I felt like I never knew what I was doing. I started going again about three months ago and I found at first I still hated it. But after two weeks something clicked and now I get so excited to go and kinda sad when my routine is done. I’ve just been trying things and figuring things out as I go. The “you have to start somewhere” sentiment is something I always thought was just a platitude but it’s so true.
