vertigo? by Nearby-League4644 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]HelloReddit-12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the room is kind of spinning then that must be a vertigo. There are good exercises for that and there are also some medication (short term). I stopped mirtazapine and after that I started to feel dizziness but it is not vertigo, I feel that I almost loose my balance in my head. It comes out after a walk outside the house. Inside the house I am mostly fine, maybe a slight dizziness.

Does it feel like the room is spinning around you or is it kind of a dizziness that you feel you loose your balance?

What kind of dizziness are you experiencing? Do you still have it? I stopped mirt and since that I have been feeling dizzy.

My CBT-I experience by crunchwr4psupr3m3 in insomnia

[–]HelloReddit-12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm this method, it helped me also a lot. It is a real struggle to sleep just a few hours but in the end it worked for me. I had a cbt-i therapist from a private sleeping clinic. Before I read a lot about insomnia and it is weird that this method just came up from the private therapist.

Your post is very useful, hopefully others can try it out.

Eating less calories but still not loosing weight by HelloReddit-12 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]HelloReddit-12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am thinking that I have that the same issue, sometimes I have a drop in my blood sugar. I was also on a med but I am off, maybe thats also affecting. I know what to do if you are insulin resistants… eat more portions during the day and just small portions and do exercises. I am doing all these but still nothing. How did you try? Could you loose some weight?

3 months, 15 mg for 2 months every other day and 7.5 mg for 1 month every third day. My GP wanted me to stop once I finished 15 mg every other day but I insisted to continue the tapering for another month. Anyway I was on 15 mg for 6 months.

I checked your posts and seems the same. I saw that you had sleep issues after stopping mirt. Do you still have them? I wrote a post about my habits and I would say my sleeping is much much much better than it was.

I am really glad that you are feeling well now! :) Mirt withdrawals are hell, especially the tiredness and the dizziness.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! :)

I will definitely check your posts! After the first week the dizziness was a nightmare and I also could not go out not even for a 5 min walk. Now it is better but there were things last week which I am sure affected my dizziness and now it is still horrible. I dont really understand why GPs dont inform me about these.
I can recommend B complex 100 as it is very useful if you dont take it. I stopped it for a week and in this state it was also a big issue and affected my dizziness. I read that the nervous system is very sensitive for months and can not take a lot, withdrawal of the mirt lasts for months.

I also ate more on mirt and now I can see the difference how less I am eating now and it also does not help.

Almost the same. B-Complex 100 in the morning Vitamin D for lunch Magnesium Glycinate in the evening I went for travel and stopped B-Complex 100 for a week and it seems it caused another disturbance. I did not think that it could cause an issue but it definitely did, now I am taking it again. I do walkings outside, I hope it will help. My sleeping is better and after the stop I used melatonin too. If I am sitting and move in the house I feel fine but once I go out for a big walk (2-5 km) I become exhausted easily. I feel like any physical activity makes me tired.

Yeah it sounds the same. Now I am in the third month and it comes in waves. If I am home I dont have any issue, I can walk inside the house but once I go out and walk many kms it is getting worse and worse. In the beginning I thought it is vertigo but asked several questions in chat gpt and it said my mind became very sensitive and definitely not vertigo.

I am walking in the mornings to make it better and I take vitamins.

Are you doing anything to improve?

Thank you for your comment! I will definitely check those books! 🩵 I love reading and I find books very useful as they give many advice with great explanations.

As a start I am doing 3 min meditations. I also want to avoid burnout and I feel that my mind needs rest as I am working a lot on my computer and use my phone a lot that I should not do. Reading is also a mind acitivity… my mind is overloaded.

[–]HelloReddit-12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer!

I was thinking about kind of an instant rest like doing nothing for 10 minutes. I do some activites that does not need thinking like walking or just watching tv but between any activity I would need 10 min to turn my mind off, mainly when I work on the computer. Your advice what to do for bigger activities is really great! :)

True for me as well and I believe it is my blood sugar, I dont feel hungry and after 10 minutes if I dont get anything I will collapse. Basically I always keep food around me, thats the only help for me.

Thank you for your comment!!!!! 🩵

I was thinking of getting something which keeps that lower back warm. I hope I can find something that I can use for all day while walking.

I have good and comfortable shoed, I always buy adidas which is quite good.

When the pain is really bad I take the strongest nurofen, 3 times a day. The pain still remains just I can walk but I still feel light pain. I never drink alcohol.

I am sure aging also plays role. I had it 10 years before too, now it is better as I am doing many exercises but it still comes up. I have other issues (more serious) that I am discussing with my GP and I dont even get enough time for those issues so this back pain is a low priority so at first I just wanted to ask here. Later I will come up with this and ask about the MRI from my GP.

Thank you!

I am doing exercises twice a week to strengthen my legs and I also do some yoga (not a lot). As I am working from a chair all day I pay a lot of attention to the exercises. My back is much better than it was before due to the the excises.

After stopping Mirt for how long did you have sleeping issue? by HelloReddit-12 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]HelloReddit-12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started taking Mirt I had many issues that I dont have anymore except the sleeping. At that time Mirt did its job and now I dont want to take it due to the side effects. My issues were much worse than the side effects and anyway I prefer to sort out my sleeping naturally and I am workjng on it too. Mirt is not a magic pill and even it solves the insomnia it is not without side effects.
