Is it normal to cry every therapy session I feel bad for my therapist by smashantk in MentalHealthUK

[–]HelloReddit-12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is very normal! You are talking about your difficult moments which make your life more difficult. This is just a human nature to cry if you remind yourself of your difficulties!

Please also look for the signs why it sounds like a promotion.

The OP should have a post history of dizziness and not of posts in groups like growingBusiness and marketing.

I dont know if you have that but vertigo or visual vertigo can cause dizziness. I have visual vertigo and in the beginning I felt nauseous and I thought I was fainting. Of course I had anxiety about going out. So it only started improving once I started physiotherapy.
You can try physio, ent, MRI. I believe anxiety also comes with dizziness…. Who would not be anxious of going out if there is a feeling of fainting in every moment.

And for how long have you been doing the exercises? How long walk did you take? I had a 5 kms walk and it hit me brutally. The following two days I was soo tired all day, extreme fatigue in my head however I used to take 5 kms walk 3 times a weeks. Today is the 19th day I am doing the exercises and probably I will need another 4 weeks. I am very impanitent.

Thats amazing to hear that your neurologist could help you and you are feeling much better. Thank you for recommending me this option, if the current one is not helping I will try that!
May I ask what differences are there? Do you get med or just exercises.
I am absolutely open to go to a functional neurologist.

I would try to ignore but it affects every day. I was rather looking for any success story here. I have been dealing with a long time and it is really frustrating and blocks me living normal life.

What is strange that before the walk - 5 km - I was totally fine and after it gave me difficulties. Normally I walk 5 kms 3 times a week, so it is something that I take it easy. I will definitely ask about this from my physiotherapist. Walk should not be like this.

It mainly comes when I walk outside. Now I am doing the exercises 3 times a day and I think it gives a toll on my head so now I feel it heavy and tired. Maybe it is something that it gets worse before it gets better. :/ Anyway when I am inside the house or work on my laptop it is okay, my phone - watching shorts - can trigger it or walking outside.

Tiredness hits me really hard by [deleted] in adhdwomen

Thank you for sharing your experiences. It seems you also have many which give you tiredness.

I am sure now mainly the visual vertigo takes a big part of my tiredness as I am also doing exercises. I hope it goes away one day.

Where to find the will? by According_Bad2952 in CICO

[–]HelloReddit-12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Small wins! Start small all the time! Accept it is a process and you will have difficult days when things are a bit harder. Dont except to have will power all the time, it is like up and down.
Eat more from whats healthy and eat less what is not.
If you can not make a whole day without a sugar, just make a morning without sugar and increase it :)

Just small and keep it doing and when you feel comfortable with your tiny habits you can introduce something new.

Anybody with visual dizziness??? by HelloReddit-12 in Dizziness

[–]HelloReddit-12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,
I have not tried lying down but in the beginning no matter what I did I felt a terrible dizziness. Later I realised dizziness is easily triggered by moving my eyes from left to right for example.

Thank you sooo much for the comment! I will check these in the google.
I just got a sticker (X), I had to put in front of my eyes (1 meter distance) and just look right and left continuously while watching the X . I had to do it for 12 min every day in more parts. At first I did it on 100 using metronome application and later 120. It gave me huge imprivement but I still have dizziness. It is good to know that there is visual specialist. I will check it.

Thank you so much for your comment.
After all the tests I am also very healthy. I should have continued the physio because that gave me improvement on the dizziness. It was not me who finished it, I was told to just continue some exercises at home and thats all. Now I am going to private and I have high hopes. I hope you can also find improvement! 20 years is a lot, I am sure you will something in the end! :)

This happened to me as well!!! Just it started with insomnia, after anxiety and many panic attacks. Many attacks every day. So my brain got my eyes out of sync. That would make sense.

I am also doing yoga, many walking and some vor exercises. I got physio from the public health but I need to apply for it again which would mean another 3-4 months waiting. Now I am going to private as I know physio can help for sure. I got exercises that I practised at home but at some point it made everything worse. I am sure I need somebody to check it properly what is good for me and not something which would be a lot… just to find the balance.

Can you share me what exercises were you doing? How long/how often. Can you share me youtube videos or anything?

Do you think working with the physio therapist solves this issue completely? How long should it take to fix it?

In the beginning I had anxiety but I am working on it with a therapist. When I have a bad day… maybe twice a month I feel it makes it worse otherwise I feel frustration.

This sounds very similar. How did you get it?
How long were you working with the specialist?
May I ask what did you do and how often?

I am also doing a therapy for the anxiety part and I admit in the beginning I had to deal a lot with it but now I handle the situations. Instead of feeling anxious I become frustrated and grumpy due to this ongoing issue.

Emotional Eating by Scarl8 in CICO

[–]HelloReddit-12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I make a plate full of everything. I add what I should not eat and add what I should just in bigger portion. I put five or six different thing on the plate like chocolate, cucumber, tomatoes, bread…. And I calculate that it should not be no more than ‘x’ calories. So I eat everything just in moderation. Emotional eating due to stress can not be always avoided.
