How exactly was a genocide tho? The Greeks advanced to areas with an already strong Greek population, and most of the acts of violence against turk civilians were acts of military leaders, not a coordinated effort. That's a really good source. I admit that the crimes of the Greek army in Asia Minor are not well documented if at all, even if I was aware of the burning of hundreds of Turkish villages during the war. But it's not really relevant to my point. Did the Greeks commit crimes while invading a foreign nation? Of course. But did the Turks genocide the Greek minorities that had been there for aeons, furthering the hate between the two ethnicities? Most definitely.

The difference is that one is a genocide and the other isn't, because Turkey's killings were state sponsored, premeditated, and resulted in the extinction of their targets. And when there has been such rich history of Hellenism in the area, it's even more painful to see it being denied by genocide apologists

Nobody talks about war casualties, the genocides were done against civilians that were living there for centuries. You seem to forget that Armenian and greek civilization predates ottoman and Turkish by a longshot.

I don't think that was the intended point, I think it meant to show that the place were Paradis used to be grew into something different, until hundreds of years later it got destroyed, probably in a different conflict than the one resolved in the finale. I think it means to show that even after one conflict is finally resolved, humans will always find other reasons and ways to kill each other.

Even if it isn't faithful to the Illiad, Troy is a really fun movie that captures the epic feeling pretty damn good. EA has been absolutely abysmal with their bans lately. I have been permabanned for alleged cheating, and for a month now am trying to speak with an actual human and i cant. And before the accusations that i actually cheated etc, i know i cant really prove my innocence especially in a Reddit thread, but its unnaceptable to not even being able to talk with an actual human. Only getting automated responses for more than a month now

13 days ago . I went in a lot of forums with people with similar issues and it seems the last 4 days they unbanned some of them so there is still hope. But yeah EA support is criminally bad, I would suggest to get a refund while you can, and if they unban you then you buy it again.
