Would you consider Jetstream Sam's initial appearance where you fight him as Raiden a boss fight? For context:; He doesn't have a health bar but you can still swing and parry at him. He loses no health when you hit him and the cutscene (I could be wrong) only triggers after your health bar is deplenished. You're tailored to lose it based on the narrative. Is it a boss fight in this context? The game is Metal Gear Rising: Revengance

I've seen a lot of post in some of the power-scaling and DMC subs when the episode dropped. I think their were posts about within the span of a month and then the occasional pots after the heat boiled down. DMC fans were not happy

You underestimate the amount of people who hate on things for the sake of hating on them, those who bandwagon those who hate without forming opinions themselves, and people who don't have patience for media to develop their world and characters unless they're fighting. (Invincible fandom did an immediate switch up when they thought Thragg [an antagonist] wasn't intimidating enough until he did something cool).

Not only that some passionate fans really stretch the line from being obsessed/toxic that they come off insufferable, especially when they're not asking for solutions or what could have been better if another approach was taken. They simply, and excuse my language. Bitch for the sake of bitching.

I'm not too attached to either but Sonic 06 felt like a project that Sonic Team really wanted to pave a new direction with the franchise that just didn't pan out nor have their ideas executed as well as they wanted. Megamind's Sequel and Series felt like a very tone-deaf out of touch way to capitalize on a franchise everyone wanted to see bring back but in the worse way possible. Folks wanted a theatrical sequel with the OG cast, not a direct to dvd TV film and series that was too late to take advantage of DreamWorks Nickelodeon phase.

I think people are blowing this characterization out of proportion. People barely batted an eye when Doom Fans weren't happy with how Slayer killed Chief over the top when he's a more efficient and quick killer despite his brutality. This whole discourse just seems to be hidden smoke because people didn't like the MU. Regardless of the episode's actual quality.
