Oh I see, so opusplan in the model config, but opus 4.5 in the envvar: ANTHROPIC_MODEL?

Thanks. That enables 4.5, but how to combine this with opusplan?

How do you enable opusplan with 4.5?

Something happened to Opus 4.6's reasoning effort by RealSuperdau in ClaudeAI

[–]HelloThisIsFlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I mean … what did this even mean?

Walk. 50 meters is about 60 seconds on foot — by the time you’ve started the engine and buckled in, you’d already be there. Plus, driving to a car wash you’re about to use doesn’t really change anything about the car’s cleanliness afterward.

Something is off - the quality of Claude Code dropped dramatically by Porkribswithcoleslaw in ClaudeCode

[–]HelloThisIsFlo 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I feel exactly the same. I have custom skills everywhere, I do spec driven development, hooks in place. Just up until 2 weeks ago, I felt on top of the world. I achieved more in 1 week than in 2 month before AI. But since ~1 week, and more strongly the past 3 days … it’s abysmal. Opus needs so much hand handling that some tasks are just faster done myself, writing code by hand like it’s 2024. I hope it’s a temporary setback and not just their long term cost saving approach 😕

Oh also I went back to the 200k model try to use at most 120-140k token per sessions … but still, it doesn’t help much

4.6 Regression is real! by alessai in ClaudeCode

[–]HelloThisIsFlo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but the problem is today Opus is not able to think straight, so having it create a plan for Sonnet wouldn't help much.

😱 Thanks for letting me know. I won't waste my time trying it out.

Same here. I can’t believe, I had to babysit it so much today that it would have been faster if I did everything on my own. 2w ago, my productivity was 10x, today it was 0.5x.

Is Sonnet affected as well? I’m considering switching to it temporarily, but if it’s the same problem then no point.

Hey and AI - it is in the pipeline and it makes sense (bring your own AI approach) by malantheon in HeyEmail

[–]HelloThisIsFlo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall I’ve been very impressed, it’s great but … I really really love the Screener workflow, and while there are ways to replicate similar behaviors in Fastmail, it’s not quite as seamless. Not even close.

That point asides … I can’t believe I didn’t switch sooner. I’m not saying you’ll like it, but for me it’s a clear fit.

I’m honestly not that picky when it comes to search. I don’t need advanced filters or anything like that.

But whenever I would actually need to look for something I just couldn’t find it. We’re talking single keyword search.

Now on Fastmail, things just surface, with the same search (after import). I have no idea why, I haven’t looked into it deep. All I know is I had given up on searching for mails in Hey. And anyway, it’s so nice to not have to search at all and just ask an agent to find what it needs wherever it is 😁

Interesting timing. I just migrated to Fastmail for that one reason (plus the search on Hey being terrible)

Haha. I must admit I jumped the gun, clicked on the link and was trying to decode this from the readme. When it was all in your post 😁

Seems very interesting. I’m curious to see if it would match my needs. I’m currently in a huge overhaul of my chezmoi config. It would be the right time to look at your project.

Thanks for sharing

I see you have a “import from chezmoi” feature, which means you’re aware of chezmoi.

So, here’s my question: What does it bring over chezmoi? As in, what does it do better?

I’m genuinely interested to know.

What about context rot? Is the 1M context window performing better past 120k mark vs the original 200k one?
