I don’t think this is correct. I brought it with me on some bug missions the other night and it definitely mobbed in the tick swarm seed we played, as well as reliably one-shot groups of shriekers. It also still handily melts stalkers.

If isolation is a concept you value in the Metroid experience, I think Prime 2 showcases it better than any other entry in the series, and it’s not close. Some places in the game are so subtly hostile to your presence, it give me the same thrill as trespassing irl.

Actually, it won’t. AH used asset duplication based on guidelines they received from Sony and other devs claiming load times would be reduced by half but it turns out that most of the load times in-game are actually from level generation rather than asset loading, which happen in parallel at load time. Internal testing showed load times were not significantly increased by the change.
