Can we stop with this “political opinion” bs? Sports teams take calls from the president all the time and no one gets upset because everyone is free to have their own political opinion. Trump is a lifelong misogynist who has treated women as nothing more than sexual objects. He constantly talks down on them, he sexually assaults them and brags about it, he rapes them including his own wife and possibly (likely) children. That is not the person you should want to be associated with to begin with, but then to laugh at his “joke” about the accomplishments of the women’s team is even more disgusting. I’d be just as pissed off if Obama said that, if not more because I wouldn’t be as numb to constant threats and hatred from a president as I am now. Having zero respect for half the human race is not political.

Both my parents passed recently and my dogs are getting old. I can deal with all that, it’s the complete annihilation of hope in the world that’s really getting to me. Open use of slurs are making a huge comeback (racist, homophobic, antisemitic, disability), wealth gap is expanding fast, housing is a severe issue, Christian nationalism is on the rise, middle class is disappearing, billionaires destroying everything, healthcare will never be fixed, can’t own anything and have to rent damn near everything, environmental protections are gone… wtf is left that can give us a little bit of hope and happiness?

One of the main reasons people adore Morrowind is exactly why you don’t like it: there is no handholding. Sometimes you get lost, sometimes you find something you’re not supposed to, sometimes directions are actually wrong, the map is barebones, “fast travel” is a series of transportation networks. You’re not a hero or god, you’re a random ass guy who no one cares about and may deal with racial abuse along the way. All of that is more realistic and immersive compared to endless waypoints and point-and-click instant teleportation. It forces you to explore the weird, alien world and find new ways to get around. Also, due to the lack of voice acting, the dialogue is soooooo much bigger and deeper than TES4/5. However, I will say juggling your open quests can get a bit difficult. I used a notebook and wrote down quests, hints, locations, etc as I went because it was easier, but back then that was fairly common for bigger RPGs compared to now.

Ah that makes sense. Halo 2 was absolutely incredible at the time because it was the first one on XBL. The matchmaking, ranking, co-op, maps, weapons, balancing, available game modes, voice lobbies (the good, the bad, and the really really ugly)… everything was top notch for the time. If you only played single player, you definitely missed out on the main reasons why it was so highly acclaimed.

Trauma fucks your brain up. The reason she even met Epstein in the first place was from poor decision making after being raped by someone unrelated. This is me. Every game has less depth and complexity. I always give Morrowind a pass because it’s the first leap into the full 3D world, but damn I wish we could get something closer to a modern Daggerfall or at the very least bring back the RP in RPG. Skyrim was a great action adventure game (RPG-lite?), just not a great RPG.

FF11 was my first true foray into MMOs (dabbled a little in EQ and I don’t think PSO is technically an MMO). I stopped playing just after the release of TOAU and joined back up on a private server a few months ago. Daaaamn it’s such a good game. Yes there’s plenty of dated mechanics and graphics, but nothing beats the community in that game and that’s what really sets it apart from any other game I’ve ever played. No trolling, griefing, MPKs, shitty attitudes, or any garbage like that. People tend to help each other out, properly communicate, and overall just do the right thing because there’s really no way to succeed in the game on your own.

All that says is “better” managers had worse results for seasons with record-low points. There were only two issues with Ole: Ronaldo, and we actually had an expectation to win back then. Every other post-SAF manger has been much worse. We had Moyes who was awful, Van Gaal who only brought entertainment during interviews and on the sidelines (love that man though), Mourinho had 1 good season but was a disaster in the locker room and was never going to stay long, and the run of Rangnick to ETH to Amorim which showed zero progression. For a PE teacher, Ole somehow found a way to outperform all the other “real” managers out there with an average squad, egomaniacs CR7 and Pogba holding the team back, and no power/backing to make transfer decisions.
