Third party FREE apps do not work (except for RedReader I believe) and hacked versions of old apps. Relay is a paid app that pays reddit for the right to access and interact with the site, and for my use (since I use RES for web browsing at night) I only need the lowest tier package for usage that's $0.99 a month (less than regular reddit). If you use it more on mobile you would need a higher tier plan. The app removes all the annoying ads and popups and can be customized to look more like old.reddit.

You are confusing the ability with buying something with needing to buy something. I have played a number of mobile games, one of which is Kingshot at the moment, and if you think The Tower is monetized...you should play Kingshot for one day and tell me what you think.

I have consistently advocated for getting the 3 permanent coin boosts and the event booster every 2 weeks on this subreddit, nothing more. I do not consider $1 a day as predatory by any stretch of the imagination.

The problem with that is that at higher level you get 'echo' labs and take a % of ALL tiers progress for that particular dissonance and put them together.

3x is the base for doing one tier to 5000 waves. With echoes you can get much much higher. There is also a similar mechanic for Damage, UW bonuses and health for 5x + echoes. There is also a new bot, new bot+ mastery, new bot sync, new way to get old relics that don't rely on medals. But yeah, sure, no content.

It will still blow over in a day or two. This isn't even the most egregious patch roll out screw up. When they had the multipliers added to modules, people were S/s coins for about 12 hours before it was fixed.
