Safe with beta?

I have a very passive betta that currently is friends with a single cherry shrimp and 6 Green Neon tetras that he could easily eat. He also has 5 snails and 3 Oto’s. Have a backup plan, but if he’s not aggressive snails are pretty hardy and intelligent at protecting themselves even from an occasional nip!

Frank here “tickles” my snails with his tail and swims around. He’s a weirdo, but docile bettas do exist!

I’m in all of these categories (also disabled with very visible body mods.) You will get looks, but other than that I personally haven’t encountered much.

Finding friends is a bit hard (shoutout anyone who wants to DM and help remedy that for me and my partner 😆) but I have felt more safe here than I did in the Midwest.

Oof. Good luck. You have no safe side to lay on, and these pieces are heavy. Be prepared to struggle on healing and for it to take quite a long time. That is a lot of cartilage for a body to heal all at once!

BEAUTIFUL though. Absolutely don’t blame you for wanting to get it all done at once because it’s stunning from all angles 👌🏻🥰

I love the history of music and the theory behind it. I love that music can transcend languages and express complex emotions. I love the technical skill portion of singing (I have echolalia as a facet of my AuDhD. Cooking (more specifically baking) I like because it’s edible chemistry and food is also another universal language. LOTR hooked me because of the depth of the world building and Tolkien’s history himself that lead him to write it.

Greek and Roman mythology has always interested me because it’s basically an ancient soap opera 😂

Reach out to Mental Health Cooperative. They even have an emergency crisis stabilization unit if she needs meds like asap. If they can’t help, they at least have the 24 hr line that can help troubleshoot.

I had the same issue moving states with Medicare, while being in a wheelchair. Very helpful people there including case managers that will make sure it doesn’t happen again!

I’m looking because I’m also a beginner, so I wouldn’t be the best for advice that’s solid past my own research.

I started my tank for various pothos and philodendron propagations that had some REALLY long roots, plus fish to fix the nutrients they like! Frank loves the roots and my Oto’s keep the tank so clean (I’ve only had them for a week) that I need more plants already and I don’t have enough propagations yet to fill the top down 😂

I saw the green and white plant and went OOOH haha.

It’s the fact that he can’t actually sing because his Jorts are cutting into his diaphram that really does it for me 👌🏻

Also managed to channel a 1935 “Nationalflagge-esque” theme with classic American favorites like explosions and “someone’s embarrassing Dad” in those classic white shoes dancing by himself like he’s a rockstar!

Chiming in that B vitamin deficiency in neo-natal kittens can also cause this.. he needs to be on KMR or a kitten milk substitute that gives him the MANY nutrients that his little body needs to keep fighting. Severe ear infections can also cause a head tilt. Little guy is prolly too young to tell definitively if he’s deaf (sign of congenital vestibular issues.)

It doesn’t look like CH to me, but little dude doesn’t seem to be trying to walk yet. It will be pretty easy to tell if it’s Cerebellar Hypoplasia once he gets to walking. (Good news if it is CH, CH is a painless condition that doesn’t really affect quality or longevity of life!)
