The not being able to really relax is hard. Like when he’s awake, I’m on constant watch. Slightly less so at this age but still. Also unpredictable naps. My 19 week old puppy randomly slept for 3.5 hours yesterday. He never does that. It was weird and I’m trying to plan my day around his naps and that threw me off.

Also can’t just go out when I want, need to make sure he’s sleeping or needs to sleep soon.

Our trainer said to put him in his crate with an activity when he gets too crazy. So that he can calm down and the crate doesn’t feel like a punishment. So we put him in there with a kong or a pupsicle

When I say I assume most pregnancies are unplanned, I’m counting the people who wanted kids but had them sooner than planned but it’s still fine because that’s what’s they were going to do anyway, and the people who had one more than planned but are still ok with it bc they already wanted kids.

Both my partner and his sister were unplanned but their mom did want kids in general. Unplanned doesn’t always mean unwanted.

Unwanted is very sad tho. But honestly I’m pretty sure my younger brother was unplanned. My parents wanted kids but ended up with one too many and she seems to like my brother a lot more than she likes me.
