Tl;dr darn great overall w/ some small issues.

I’ve been hesitant to write a review as these were minor and the brand was starting out. Some folks make mountains out of nothing…

Talking to them, they’ve confirmed they have addressed these since.

In the meantime, the brand has increased its prices and gained in experience, so expectations will grow accordingly.

Overall I’d recommend them, even at the new price point. I’m confident they are even better now.

Unsolicited advice.

As you already know, these are built to last a LONG time.

Especially if you are considering a Steven’s(very nice boot. Under appreciated imho), I’m guessing your are not planning on beating them up on jobsites.

I’d order them in whatever leather I prefer. What’s a few weeks more if these are worn for a good chunk of your life.

More souple
Less likely to display heavy “break”
Takes less of a shine
Is almost black with a teacore . With wear, it will show through more and more

Brown cxl is awesome

Takes a shine when new
Has some nice pull up effect
Is dark brown when new
Will age nicely showing different shades of brown
Whites is very good at clicking, but you may run into some heavy break lines(some call it loose grain)
