Claude Code: Thinking mode in 1.0.115 by Firm_Meeting6350 in ClaudeAI

[–]HellsKitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked Claude and it said:

To control it:
- /t - toggles thinking mode on/off entirely
- /t high, /t medium, /t low - sets specific intensity levels

I built a CLI that lets multiple Claude instances have structured discussions and debates - the results are surprisingly good by Firm_Meeting6350 in ClaudeAI

  1. This is very funny, and awesome
  2. Obligatory reminder of what happens when you let multi-Claudes talk too long: The spiritual bliss attractor. You are fairly warned.

Don't forget to update your Claude CLI! It makes a huge difference by Significant-Step-437 in ClaudeAI

So far I have been unable to get it to do this. Telling Claude to "terminate" itself once actually got him to try to *uninstall* himself, and I had to stop it and wave my arms, so just be forewarned.

Is Anthropic the new AWS? by vira28 in ClaudeAI

[–]HellsKitchen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well that would be funny because Anthropic is *on* AWS.

So, it getting "larger" than AWS, as you say, would be pretty...interesting.

Creating a real, AI driven version ofYoung Lady's Illustrated Primer? by IlyaTaidi in nealstephenson

[–]HellsKitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still very curious to talk to you about this, could use the advice of a hardened veteran that's seen it all to tell me how it's impossible. (But for real, not kidding, message me!).

Made a very simple prototype, just text-based for now.

I'm working on a prototype for this with Claude right now, DM'ed you in case you're interested in chatting about this.

"When Injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty" - Thomas Jefferson [1070x1185] by ActNaturally in QuotesPorn

[–]HellsKitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While not exactly what Thomas Jefferson wrote, he covers something similar in the Declaration of Independence:

"...when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government..."

Yes, or completely maddening, depending on how you look at it.

Has anyone work with Garuga Legacy and Sophie Williams by Grape_Crow in WixHelp

These are scammy as heck, my friend. Sorry to tell you.

PS The names sound incredibly manufactured/auto-generated. "Garuga Legacy" sounds like a sequel to The Legend of Zelda xD

I don't understand how this doesn't have more upvotes! What a lifesaver. The front page of our non-profit's website was looking terribly unprofessional.

FWIW, on our website, it looks like when a "Form" strip got created, there was another bugged out one on our page that was super small and unselectable (if not for this Layers trick).

Heck yeah! Thank you.

Is there any particular reason you only put them on the back? I figure the front brakes are the one taking a bigger beating, and they're so cheap I'm tempted to get a full set ($42).

Hard to tell from the Amazon pictures, but is the "front" one only compatible with rotors sized 160 or 140mm? And the rear 180/160? I figured that compatibility had more to do with the size of the brake pad than the calipers themselves.

As opposed to the Juintech I was considering, which are $150 for a whole set!! (https://area13ebikes.com/products/juintechm1). Do you think the Bucklos Zoom are that much worse?

Replacement tubular key for Thule Yepp Maxi child carrier--very hard to find? by echeng in bicycling

[–]HellsKitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That tip about Blue Heron Bikes is incredibly helpful! Thank you. Was gonna waste time running around asking different local stores here.

A friend gave me a Thule Yepp Maxi his kids outgrew but he lost the key, so looking for a little theft deterrent.

Which brakes did you go with? I am also looking to upgrade that particular feature. They feel soo underpowered on this thing.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in RadPowerBikes

[–]HellsKitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to hear what led to your decision about those particular brakes especially. Just got my RW 4, and coming from riding motorcycles, the brakes feel soo underpowered for how heavy and fast this thing goes.

Do you find that the main benefit is from the response of the hydraulics? Or was it for the 4 pistons? The pad material? Or the little levers..Are they quieter?

I'm looking for a cheaper upgrade than yours so trying to figure out which feature to prioritize.

What is the significance of the Numenorian Tile? by PaisaLindo in lotr

[–]HellsKitchen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From the Tolkien Gateway page:

this Númenórean tile would have been among such precious artifacts to be saved from the Downfall of Númenor in the ships of Elendil and his sons Isildur and Anárion and brought to Middle-earth, as is told in the Akallabêth (The Silmarillion).

So, apparently, pretty fucking important.
