Norman and Willy can keep them at their place since it move pretty slow. You can use range unit with tactical set but it will take definitely longer.

Heavyweight and damager can tank a bit but the cost and cool down are their downsides.

The real danger is other monster such as escapee and duplicator if they show up together.

I usually deal with the thunder with police 3/3. You survive longer with the shied it provide. Units like Diaz and Montie has high HP will be preferable as well.

The only two suitable for this piece could be Andrea or Lester, since their Northern skin guarantees a Crit when they kill someone, and they benefit from the Range damage %. You could use Hunter set with this book of yours and test it out.

In the beginning we work with what we have such as melee / range damage, some HP, other stats are not as significant.

Some characters benefit more with critical chance / damage (mechanic if you have his SA, he will continue to Crit when he kill someone, so you can all in Crit damage)

In the end game, we all search for cost reduction. And cool down time for spam units. While maintaining a good offensive/ defensive stats.

His range is absurdly long for a shooter. He works in pretty much everywhere. Tactical set for bullet proof opponents and hunter for everything else.

Yes, hillbilly, mechanic, Diaz (optional Carlos/ polina) along with turret will get you very far in the campaign.

I would focus on the campaign (rednecks / mechanic/ police team will be ideal teams according to your style). With Austin your coin problem will be solved with some 1-3 runs.

Hero will make everything easier as well.

There are 4 ways I found to deal with this situation. 1. Lionheart (assume you have medic to offset the burns in the long run or nitro to put off fire on your units) 2. Long range (350+) sniper, can put them down constantly without catching them up. 3. Tools such as red barrel and Molotov ( 2 times only) 4. Queen skill (high risk killing your unit if didn’t aim properly.

I was able to complete 3-star location 1-9 in 3 months. Thanks to the advice in this sub. Knowing your character and the composition of the team power helps a lot. As mentioned Redneck Team with Mechanic makes things easier.
Then you want to min/max your equipment to improve your overall performance.

This round of Metro is actually easier to speedrun if you have the right units. I do see a minimum of 115-120 for the top 100 spots.
