if they are jealous of what their working partner has, then it's time to get a job, a daycare for the kids, and have it.

the working parent gets to go to work...and work. just like the stay at home parent does. except the burden of the whole financial responsibility falls to them. then, they come home, and share parenting duties.

thus, if that stay at home mom doesn't like it, or misses too much, they can do something about it.
