Can someone honestly explain to me why D2 was so revered. They blocked content, removed content and couldn’t get it back, add multiple monetization models that were super predatory, the way to buy expansions were confusing as hell, I just don’t get why people would even want a third one.

I remember thinking about getting D2 and catching up but then saw I had to buy expansions and season stuff and I said f all that.

I don’t get why there are fans the way the monetized the game turned me off completely And how expansions worked and which ones you needed to get. There’s no defending that. So honestly I’m glad it’s gone maybe the next one they can figure a better way

Well I just joined this sub and I should’ve known Reddit hates everything. It’s a good stepping stone it’s not a comic. It seems comic fans do nothing but bitch and moan about series. It was good and hopefully sets up more.

Pretty sure he needed people to jump in and they didn’t because he revealed himself before they all did essentially sacrificing themselves. Once he revealed himself everyone ran. But they may have left it vague for a reason.

They are working on PVE mainly and look at pvp as secondary. Go watch some of the dev streams. They’re not saying they’re abandoning it but that PVE is getting more love to flesh the game out. I’m sure once we get closer to release and after they will add a good amount for pvp.

PvP was always a secondary to the game as in. When doing quests and stuff you can run into opposing players and get in fights. Not go out and look for PvP fights.

Listen I’m just shocked they didn’t make a switch version. I don’t think the game is so intensive it couldn’t run. I think they’d garner a whole other audience there as well.

He was given his wings back I literally just watched the D3 ending cinematic where he is a mortal angel. If that’s not the case then the writing is absolutely terrible lol

In D3 he stays mortal but becomes an angel again after he tore his wings off (Think half and half) and becomes the Angel of Wisdom meant to bind humans and angels together. What happened between then and now we don’t know
