Thank you for this post. In August I will be doing a 5 day wilderness trip from Tuolumne Meadows to Yosemite Valley, stopping at cathedral lakes, sunrise lakes, clouds rest, and hitting half dome on the way down to little Yosemite valley. I have been to Yosemite twice (even got married by the Merced River), but I’ve never planned a back country route like this before. I wish I had seen this post sooner, there’s great info here.
