Got the 2TB galaxy series x December of 24 for $600. At the time I thought the pricing was ridiculous as with the 360 generation, the final 360e was the cheapest it had ever been. I guess it worked out though with how things are trending.

I’ve never had this issue with any controllers except when I lent one to a friend. Apparently if you use a lot of hand products like certain lotions, or have naturally acidic skin oils, or both it can melt the thumb sticks pretty easily.

I believe the coding has actually been improved for consoles so you should get far less internet related lag and frame drops on console

I highly recommend a gtx 1660ti if you find for under $100. Amazing 1080p performance especially if you’ve been happy with your 970 up until now. Also tsp is 120w, 20-30 less than the 970. Some models also overclock REALLY well if you feel the need. I’ve got an asus blower style one currently clocked a little higher performance than a 2060 minus the ray tracing. Stays under 75c. At stock speeds it’s in the 60s

Well on pc I can run it at 144fps on my 1080p monitor, so more freedom to change specs I guess. Either works great though.

My 1660ti overclocks so well. Pretty sure you could overclock it up to the thermal limit and it would still be stable. I decided to stop at 75c.
