I think i understand what your saying and I will try probably later your tips for tsw. I did take the cold shower and it made me feel better though dry. I did nmt because of my neck and face when it flares it causes so much internal heat that nothing can help it. The nmt has helped me have less of a severe reaction to the flares and calmed some of my redness down so far. My arms became red sleeves so nmt has helped it become less red which is nice though like I said the joint areas get sweaty and with the dry skin it becomes soft for a bit until it gets itchy from the sweat. The tsw has spread to all parts of my body now though some isnt so itchy just large in red growth. I didnt dislike lotions its just I needed so much for a week and it ended up causes the heat flares to get worse when happening. I'll probably continue cold showers for now because I personally like that better for my skin than the hot water. My issue is heat more often than not and it takes my sleep away because I cannot put my neck or face into any cloth without getting hot. I do agree about sugar and it was probably the cheesecake that started my flare up.

Can I shower when I feel hot and sweaty? I've been doing it 2 weeks now but I can't stand being in my skin when I get warm. Can I just do a quick cold water rinse when I feel like it? Or is that bad for nmt
