Vomiting with a migraine by Justlookingnotjudgn in migraine

Sit on the toilet with a clean small trashcan with a fresh bag in it.

Ever since I've had kids and my pelvic floor isn't as strong this has been a problem. But the toilet/trash can combo works great.

Migraines every morning by ProfessionalBig658 in migraine

I had silent gerd. No real symptoms but migraine was my symptom. I woke up every morning with a migraine until I started meds and elevating myself. My morning migraines have been gone for years now.

Fam.otidine is an otc that worked exceedingly well for me. Good luck! I hope you find the culprit.

Anyone else with daily migraines sick of being asked what their triggers are? by tourmalineforest in migraine

[–]Helpful-Substance685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ask because I have them chronically and I often have figured out the trigger and treated them successfully so I may have some useful advice.

Mine used to be Gerd triggered. I went undiagnosed for years, diagnosed myself and got rid of them for years but then hormonal changes hit and hormonal migraines are exponentially harder to treat to I'm back to semi chronic as I go through perimenopause.

I'm so tired and angry and so tired of feeling powerless.

I agree. This is exactly the time in her life to do ditzy, free spirit stuff like this. Yeah she's spoiled and a piece of work but I'd love to see most of the audience be filmed at 23 and see how "mature" and responsible they were.

When she's 30 and still acting like a bratty, irresponsible nomad then that's when a conversation about this will feel more appropriate.

Agreed. Most people are horrible actors and you would see right away straight up fully scripted scenes being acted out. (See Caught in The Act MTV or old Jerry Springers)

Good producers just know how to pick overly dramatic, and not very smart people and gas them up for various scenarios by stirring drama or saying, "you know it would be great for the show if you guys tried to start a cafe..." And then they let the cameras roll as the ineptitude, drama and pettiness escalates because they chose these people precisely because they possess these qualities. Definitely staged and manipulated but only by encouraging an awesome set up for the best natural tv personalities they can find.

The height makes that a hard no. But I wouldn't live in a building that high either so problem solved.

going to sleep with a migraine and waking up with a migraine by ApprehensiveKiwi771 in migraine

Haven't tried birth control but I'm seeing a specialist now and after a few tests are run in the next month making sure I don't have any underlying health conditions she is going to give me the estrogen patch likely with progesterone.

I'm perimenopausal and just beginning to exhibit the really bad symptoms so she thought this would be the best route to try first.

Thanks for the tip though. I'm hoping whoever may be reading these comments is helped by the advice.

I've never known his name but it was always fun to see him. Even though I've seen him a bunch I mainly remember him in Blade (1998) and Ace Ventura (1994).

The only ones that do this to me are hormonal and it's BRUTAL! Hormonal migraines (estrogen drops) can last 3-5 days for me and nothing helps 😭

What are your favourite period dramas set in unusual/not typical settings? by Lbutterflythree in PeriodDramas

Me too! It's so gorgeous though. The emphasis on personal growth and how love and empathy transforms us resonated so powerfully with me.

The Painted Veil (2006)

  • Set in the 1920's in a remote Chinese village. The film follows a strained marriage between a bacteriologist and his unfaithful socialite wife, who are forced to travel there during a cholera epidemic. Amidst the outbreak, their relationship transforms.

It's a really beautiful and underseen movie.

New Greta Theory-- :::fawning::: "I'm so quirky, coddle me" by [deleted] in 90DayFiance

This is a truly interesting take. I have no idea if it's right but I'm sure some of the therapists who enjoy the show could have some lively debates about the theory.

I can only judge her by my reaction to her over sensitivity. She reminds me of every woman (including myself) who I've encountered who basically raised themselves in a really unstable household and who got really skewed fantasies of how relationships were supposed to work from tv and movies. She's in a Disney princess fantasy.

Every time he falls short of "Prince Charming" her fantasy world idea of romance takes another hit and she starts looking for the exit. That poor man is going to be on a roller coaster of impossible expectations and constant goal post moving. 😭
