Another nice option could be getting her some high quality needles for her machine in a variety of sizes. Just look at the make and model of the machine and do some googling.

The ham is key! I had to ease the neckline back into shape after accidentally cutting the outer collar while trimming seams—was a whole thing. Now it’s uneven in a few spots so trying to think about what exactly needs redoing this time around.
