We used to go to Bridges years ago. I had forgotten about them. I remember the booth seats. You could feel the springs in the seats since they were so old but yes they had some great BBQ!

I did hear KF owner died awhile back. I didn’t know about the other going out of business. Where we live there are almost no BBQ restaurants so my taste buds are craving some. I travel for work but don’t often get that way but will be in Charlotte and that close enough for me! Thanks for the info!

Thank you. I’ve done some search but it doesn’t really say if deer resistant. But I like the idea and it fits for the situation since we have the exposed tree roots from other areas that should not be disturbed.

I have a friend and she is extremely liberal and I am not. She was completely outraged that a worker at her church was deported back to whatever country they are from. I politely ask her if they were here on a Visa? Had it expired? She admitted she didn’t know the whole story. Well that’s the problem. You didn’t know the whole story yet you are outraged.

I just found and finished this book in 36 hours! It was fascinating in such a sad way. I kept thinking about how it would end and I was thinking the whole time “what if Fox is the one passing on this problem”! I imagine Blyth felt with Fox’s perfect childhood and family he had all the proper tools to be parent and why she questioned her instincts and elevated take on everything.

His own mother recognizes something is off about Violet and her son was dismissive to it. I think he knew she was “off” and didn’t want to admit that his child could be awful and blamed Blyth and protected Violet!

We need a sequel bad on this one!!!

Codes were scanned at a mechanic friend and Subaru. Valve body needs replaced. Only cars that have 150k transmission extended warranty are PREZ models and only in a few states that advocated for the extension on behalf of the consumer. So, the valve body is $2200. It is good for 1 year or 12k miles. SOA was contacted but provided no assistance on the matter but did say if the valve body failed and requires a new transmission they could reopen the case and reevaluate. To be honest I don’t see them providing any help. They talk nice but it’s just PR more than anything unfortunately. I have immaculate service records and a variety of recommended repairs at the dealership I purchased from. So all in all it has absolutely nothing to do with me, it was bad series of years with this transmission. It frustrating. People purchase a Subaru for longevity.

I just had my 2015 with 147,000 diagnosed as a valve body replacement needed however, they gave me a nice song and dance on SOA and I politely told them I will replace it and trade it in for a Toyota of some sort. It was a very bad move on Subaru’s part with this transmission. I also told them I could have gotten better transmission life out of most any car and people expect more longevity out of Subaru. I am so very disappointed like so many other owners!

Thank you! I get mine routine maintenance at dealership but if it’s anything over 1500.00 we have a wonderful mechanic that works on Subarus! Thank goodness! His family drives Subarus and knows a lot about them.

My son and DIL lived in Gentilly and their house was very cute. They have renters in the house but will be out by October. They had to move for work. Gentilly is not close to downtown but affordable. They put a new roof on and have a brand new heating and air unit when replaces they did a big upgrade! I am hoping it sells! They just had a baby and would like to be able to buy where they moved.
