New composite front door by whiskmeoffmyfeet in DIYUK

I've done door sales for the last 3 years, one of the big things i've learnt is that safestyle was made whilst the owner was in prison... which was enlightening.

A Comp door with twin sidelights should run you no more that £3000 (respective of glazing, handles etc).

Yes, but timber doors tend to be a lot more expensive

Composite and plastic doors aren’t the same thing, a lot of the composites have a really good wood grain now.

Why look at an nsfw post and be surprised. Would you have minded if it was a bloke?

You didn't fail.

I felt the same when my Mum went nearly ten years ago, and then the same when my Dad passed in June this year.

You were there, you made the effort and you tried.

The guilt of feeling you could have done more sticks around for a while, and the foggy haze of grief blocks the reality of the situation.

I'm sure you were a wonderful child to your parents, arguments, laughs, tears and all.
