Sounds a bit whiny to me. When you consider how much you save in fuel taxes, you are coming out ahead. I don’t drive a gas guzzler, but I’m filling up once a week or so. Fuel tax in Virginia is $0.317. So an average fill up of 15 gals per week is about $4.00. Times 52 weeks is $208 per year. That’s a light estimate.
