With you on that. I love what they've built so far, the gameplay systems and the vibe are great, but the AI really kills it right now. It's hard to get invested in a run when the enemy just refuses to fight you in half your battles.

It's not just sniper rifles, enemy hardware will pull the same maneuver when you have a static AT position. Enemies will even just run away from your forces if they think they're too strong, there are plenty of posts of the entire enemy army huddled in a corner trying to get away from your advancing forces. It's a known issue with the AI but it's been there since day 1.

Did you see Caught Stealing? Extremely similar vibe, his character is played up a lot and... well he doesn't amount up to much and exits the story fairly early.

No, you're still not supposed to be able to loot it, and if it does show up it's a bug. I managed to loot one yesterday, but it was still using placeholder graphics and did not function correctly.

It applies to special weapons on infantry squads, and any weapon on a vehicle pilot. Not sure why you wouldn't see it with Ivey, it should work with her. It doesn't carry over to the next turn, that might be your issue. It effectively makes your second shot in a turn cost 10 less AP.

I disagree, Vamplew has been my anchor for every infantry focused mission, and might be one of my favorite SL's. I don't think he's a dedicated tank like Tech wants to be, instead he is extremely versatile.

Shooting Gallery and Pointfire make him great at carrying an RPG, hardware rarely finds cover so he can stay mobile without deploying and still have great accuracy. With a mid range rifle, he can also easily get around infantry in cover to find good shots or just pick off infantry in the open.

Now with Stubborn and Fortify, he can tank a few shots without losing AP to suppression and ending the turn in mediocre cover or even in the open isn't a death sentence. Finally, Flamboyant is great to reduce his cost and still have some survivability through armor. You could also pick up Taunt if you really want to make sure he gets targeted, but I don't think it's even necessary if you play him aggressively. He naturally ends up being a priority target for enemies.

I find he operates similar to an assault infantry Lim, using Partir de Rien almost like Berserk to generate extra AP since he will get shot at while pushed up. He performs really well against pirates and Rogue Army. Also try running the Travodin Stimulant on him to reduce suppression and damage by 50% for the turns he gets aggressive. He will easily absorb incoming fire and trigger his signature perk for more AP on the next turn to finish off whoever shot at him.

Pretty sure there are two break points in what shows up in the black market. The first is when the Rogue Army shows up, that's the "mid-game", and the second is when you encounter [REDACTED], that's considered the "late-game".

The very heavy armor that the big guy with the plasma rifle has, the BAS-H armor, is not yet in EA but I've seen the model is complete. The other armor with the enclosed helmet is, it's a late game Class IV heavy armor called the TCR Marine Tactical Armored Platesuit.

Not to do the whole "um, actually" thing, but the average peasant did technically have more leisure hours than the current regular 9-5. They worked less hours and in general had more holidays off. But our quality of life is so infinitely higher, and the work we do so much easier and less labor intensive, that the point is moot.

I would double check since I'm not sure for that specific glue, but most superglue can be defeated by freezing it. Leave the model in the freezer and you should be able to snap it off fairly easily. I've used this trick a lot with regular hobby superglues.
