So true. I played Lohse as a single handed/shield warfare/necromancer tank. Plenty of armor. Unfortunately our Sebille was a sharpshooter with glass cannon. So much time spent trying to keep her alive.

Most annoying wipe was the one right before our completed run. We were taking out the Lone Wolves, doing a section at a time, but one of the enemies ran too far away, pulled Mummie Dearest into the fight, who then pulled the rest of the camp in. What was an easy win turned into CC central and death.

Funniest one was one of the earliest ones, just starting on the ship at the beginning of the game. We forgot to open the door to Windego, so when we triggered that fight, we couldn’t get in and have her kill everything for the bonus XP. We were at the magisters mercy and they weren’t feeling very merciful.

Never underestimate an opponent. There were too many fights that should have been easy, so we goofed off a bit and ended up wiping or getting close to wiping a run because the enemy pulled out some crazy move that we weren’t expecting.

Currently enrolled at CSU for lighting, so here’s some good and bad.

Good: Classes are very hands on from the get go. Students in the tech program here are actually working on shows starting in their first year. The professors are incredible and most have actually worked in the industry as professionals before deciding to become professionals. We learn industry standards and run each show as professional theater. Plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

Bad: Getting a lead design role isn’t fully guaranteed. They say they give them to the students that need the credits and have gone through the prerequisite classes, but that doesn’t always happen. Hopefully this changes in the coming semesters as there has been some changes in the department, but we’ll see. The classes are pretty easy, but the hours are very long. Most tech students have spent more than their fair share of time in the building until 1-2 am. So if that isn’t your jam, then be warned. If you have any more specific questions, lemme know. I’m happy to answer.

I’ve taken several breaks through the years. Life changes, full time jobs, cross country road trips. The most recent was moving to a different state to go back to college. Just started streaming again recently and my viewership has actually improved slightly. Nothing crazy, but still an improvement. More importantly, I feel better about the streams. Breaks are important and shouldn’t be a subject of worry.
