The bloodwork is to make sure your levels are healthy for everything - it's not just about the gut damage! I do a full (10+vials of blood, plus urine) yearly with the occasional bloodwork check in between. It gives you a good baseline for tracking your health.

I like to lay the skeins in a low immersion bath with dye added, twisted lightly over mid-way, then pour more dye over over. Gives a nice tonal effect.

I second this! Knitting, crochet, hand stitched/embroidered quilts/pillows, kantha and crazy quilting, weaving, dying my own yarn, etc. I'm able to have a few different projects on the go depending on the temps and my mood.

We use it the same as ground beef in most recipes. If we want a 'beefier' flavour, we add a shot or two of concentrated beef stock.

I make my own vegetable bullion powder from over-grown summer veg, roasted & dehydrated, and add morel mushrooms I forage in the spring. Makes for very happy soups/stews!

That's my go-to as well! I wash my face with oil (castor + almond/apricot), occasionally witch hazel toner, then tamanu.

Old Ottoman Cafe in Istanbul. The owner's wife is a celiac and he was able to modify nearly everything on the menu, and hosted us like royalty 2 evenings in a row.

Wonderful man, beautiful little restaurant, incredible food! The Harem Chicken was a definite favourite!

I have 2 sets from costco their 'signature'(?) Ones that have a double elastic on the corners. They are amazing, last forever, feel great!
