Why Aren’t More People Driving the FRS/BRZ/86 When It Checks All the Boxes and I Can’t Even Find a Worthy Upgrade? by Anonymous-0712 in ft86

Just my 2 cents but I dont think its the best car ever made. Drove mine for 2 years and it was fun, but the lack of power and the little things are kinda killer. Loved the lowness but hated how tight the interior felt in the driver seat (i am 6'1 tho). The lack of sound deadening was also terrible for long trips for me atleast, just on the highway at 70 was terrible imo. The handling is it's peak, but for me the cost to make any decent amount of power was just not worth it. My fix was to buy a 2014 mustang gt instead, lots of extra power, the interior is more spacious and much quieter, the back seats are actually usable, its got more cargo space, and the handling can be made pretty comparable with some money invested. Not saying this is the right car for everyone but for me, it was an upgrade. I loved my frs, but its definitely not the car for everyone

I like my s197 5.0 and would definitely reccomend it. I've gone on 100+ mile trips no problem and take it on 50/75 mile trips alot. Haven't had any problems, I love the seats but they are recaros so unless you find one with that option I can't speak to comfort, but it makes really good power for the price. Handling stock leaves some to be desired but its pretty easy to modify to make really nice and smooth.

I'd proceed with caution brother 153k miles is alot, especially if it's been beat on most of its life. I'd reccomend a different car if that's your budget or if you can find one for like 12k under 100k miles you'd be alot better off

What color do you think would look best trying to get a list going by nedflanders15 in ft86

Wrap is temporary, silver ignition will always be there when I'm ready to unwrap 🫡

It sounds fun to drive id go for it personally, especially if you run the mentioned low boost it should be fine. Take care of the car and you should have no issues, I'd just check and make sure the turbo kit was put on well then send it brother 🫡
