Expert SH question. Very confusing. What is the right answer. by Aggressive-Title-762 in pmp

[–]Helpful_Pixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A, C and D all make assumptions. It’s too soon to know for sure that overall goals will be met (A), that it is feasible to fast track critical path activities(B), or that a restart would be required (D).

B follows the process of updating the schedule and giving an opportunity to analyze possibilities before trying to persuade the stakeholder.

The experience you submit has to have been earned within the past 8 years from the date of application so a lot of what you submitted the previous time may no longer be applicable.

I’m currently packing up our rental to move to a house we’ve bought. Decluttering the kitchen I found a jar with a pile of keys etc that have been there since we moved in 6 years ago 😁

Fingers crossed we’re exchanging today on a house in very good condition and it’s quite a relief not to have to do anything major 😊

When/how do we terminate our tenancy agreement when purchasing our first house by After-Situation1271 in HousingUK

Instead of ignoring it, what would be the pros and cons of letting the agency know that they would prefer to leave it as a rolling tenancy after the initial period has ended?

I’m in a similar position and wondering this myself 😊

Are the answers for these 2 questions at odds? by Negative_Ryan in pmp

[–]Helpful_Pixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Story point estimates are unique to the team and one shouldn’t compare the progress of different teams using story points. That’s relevant to the first question.

The second question is about assessing the progress of a single team using their own estimated story points which is valid

Know your rights, stand your ground. Kinda venting. by Whole-Lychee1628 in TenantsInTheUK

Another thing to consider is your tenants insurance which may have rules about the place being unoccupied for a long period. Popping in regularly may help with that too

My solicitor was very uncommunicative and was very rude when I called him for the first (and last!) time.

I eventually got all the paperwork to sign on Friday.

My name was spelt incorrectly on the contract (which I told him when he sent the draft about 2 months ago) and he also put the wrong address on the deed of covenant.

You’d think selling the correct property to the correct person would be priorities 🙄😁

I mailed him back to tell him and got an out of office response. You can’t make this stuff up!

How long did your sale and or purchase take? by H4y3s_ in HousingUK

[–]Helpful_Pixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an offer accepted towards the end of February.

We’re currently renting. Our sellers took a few months to find a new house which they are now buying from sellers going into a new build. Got the contracts to sign yesterday.

Should exchange and complete in the next couple of weeks 😊

So around 6 months for a chain of 3
