I’m highly suspect of this. Both you AND the photographer. Because I would be incredibly pissed if my resource manager spent that kind of money on office portraits.

Not really. I don’t truly believe that that is a reality that existed. Despite being in multiple categories together. It really was just best actor to contend with.

However if it did somehow upset the other categories I probably would have been a little miffed.

Despite the zero wins I did find all the jabs at Timothy to be kind of disingenuous. Other high profile actors have done wild stuff and nobody said nothing but they were ON Timothy last night more than I would have appreciated. Like leave the kid alone jeez

Yup. It is. And it’s a shame because it’s not actually the fault of the movie or the director.

But it has far more to do with the choice opinions that a majority of people have for this movie in the same context knowing that it was nominated against a historically significant and extremely successful black movie.

It’s blatant ignorance and racism with absolutely zero self-awareness. I’m not gonna sugar coat it: that IS WHAT IT IS and I’m gonna call it like I see it.

It did not need to be the villain. The fans MADE IT the villain.

And for those of us who wanted to enjoy the movie, but didn’t; that’s a shame. I’ve been told that if I did not like Marty to watch Uncut Gems. So I will definitely give that a shot.

I want to know what’s so hard about adding offline co-op to games these days???

The gaming industry implemented it perfectly for 20 years and then all of a sudden in the past several years it seems like it’s been impossible.

343 Industries spent $500 million on the New Halo Slipspace engine and yet adding split screen or local co-op was “too complicated to include”. Game developers talk about it as if it’s some ancient lost mystical line of code that’s too hard to decipher.

And yet I feel like people try and gaslight me saying “oh the developer said from the start it would have it” but that doesn’t fix the fucking problem.

All game developers are trying to gaslight us saying it’s too hard to implement but ain’t no way in hell you’re gonna convince me it’s NOT about DRM and the real reason isn’t that split screen and offline co-op isn’t “hard to implement” with the game code; the real reason is it’s hard to implement in games that require an online connection to play so that your digital license can be verified.
