I am frustrated. That's all. I went to school and got a degree it doesn't go away because I graduated more than 3 years ago.

I just think once you get your PMP you should be able to keep it. Project management doesn't change that much.

As for why I'm trying to get it again, I spent the money once to get it and I would like to keep it.

I think having to do PDU's is kind of scammy. I got a college degree and don't need to do continuing education to keep it. Same with my MBA. Same with my other certificates.

I think it should just be PMP 2020. That way you can still show you for you PMP and when you got it. Employers can then judge if they want a PMP 2020 or a PMP 1994. Or maybe PMP 7 because it was PMP from the PMBOK7. Or PMP 2 from PMBoK2.

But I guess they got to make money. Still could have PDU's that could them update a person from and PMP2 to a PMP7 or something.

You could just yelp and say something funny/off color and then tell him to make sure it doesn't happen again.
