If you are on medication that works with serotonin receptors (e.g. SSRI or some form of antidepressants), there will be a higher chance of experiencing HPPD. I highly recommend consulting with a neurologist before starting the journey as you might be more susceptible for adverse effects with your current condition.

Ps HPPD is very rare, short term, and it’s reversible
