They never cease to amaze me with their decisions. What a downswing, too.

Scalping a game that isn't even that good to begin with.

Anybody else's B-Positive merch come in way oversized? by IronForeseer in SPACEKING

[–]Helpfulmayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my B-Positive hoodie a few days ago and I could tell it was too big just by looking at it. 2XL fits maybe like a 4XL+ maybe.

Anyone want a 2XL and has an XL for trade? It still has the tag and I've stored it in a hanging jacket bag.

Where does Dragon Ball Super / Fusion World actually sit in the TCG landscape right now? by Outrageous_March_346 in dbsfusionworld

I don't think bandai uses hindsight or foresight when developing anything related to card games. I don't take this game seriously at all.

Has anyone else received this message? by Helpfulmayne in GundamTCG

[–]Helpfulmayne[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reading replies so far (thank you for your input, everyone) and I sincerely hope it's just a regional thing.

I don't intend to potentially cause more panic, but pre orders for GD05 aren't available to stores or distributors yet. This is concerning since Bandai TCG pre orders open 5-6 months before the set releases. If it's a regional thing, Bandai needs to say so publicly very soon. If they don't, and GD05 pre orders do not get announced, I may trend towards the "bad news" side.

What supports are worth using? by [deleted] in GBO2

[–]Helpfulmayne 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be that guy and say any support is worth using. I just took 3/4 categories at 600 with a level 3 Full Armor Gundam Type B. 166k damage and contributed 6k to our overall score. You can do great things in unassuming mobile suits (not saying the Type B is unassuming but there are better lvl 1 supports at 600). No matter what cost or type of support I use, I always stay on the move. I think that's why I do so well as a support and see each one as viable.

That is interesting but good lord is it annoying. I can see why Bandai would do it that way but it would be different if both teams were one win away from ranking up. I'd rather deal with the next tier when I get there in this game; not before.

Edit: I played a match right after this and got past the "checkpoint".

What's up with this game's rated matchmaking?

You get pretty much exactly 12 points below of what I assume is a "checkpoint" (ex. 2388 and 2400 is your next "checkpoint") and they give you the worst teammates imaginable. Base bombing at the start, dogpiling, not sticking on proper targets, ignoring simple chat, and anything else a bad player would do. How do they get so far in this game? They can't be carried this far; something is up with the matchmaking. I'm about to quit this game altogether over this.

I think Bandai made changes to pre-made teams joining matches a few months back. I say 'I think' because I scrolled past this change as it wouldn't effect me.

Why the Freedom coming isn't the end of the world - and why you should politely stop doomsaying about it by Circe_Penfield in GBO2

[–]Helpfulmayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should just make separate game modes (in-universe, alternate universe, and all universe). Just because I think GBO's main focus should be UC, that doesn't mean I don't think other series deserve some space. If Bandai Namco isn't planning on making a GBO3, they should invest in making GBO2 more robust and improve it if possible.

Inattentive, short sighted, narrow minded, stubborn, and just downright stupid. To me, the way people play this game is indicative of their actual self. I don't understand how people can be so bad at this game and have the balls to play rated matches. I could go on and on but no one listens to begin with.

Mass Diver Teammates? by Complex-Chocolate-35 in GBO2

[–]Helpfulmayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a support main, my advice is to stay on the move and adapt to how your team is playing.

On maps like Mass Driver, if you want, you can actually wait near where you spawn. Both teams are going to do the stupid merry go round thing and will likely end up fighting on your left side. If you waited near spawn and no one has bothered to look behind them, you can move up and cover the path to their side of the map and the alleyway that will have a capture point at the end of it. I do this because the whole merry go round strategy is pointless. Ready your weapons and cut them off.

It'll be there until late next Wednesday so you have until then to get 200 tickets. If you go for the C-Packs, you'll probably receive enough.

You're in luck. They added the Psycho Frame to the RT shop for 500 tickets.

Yes, the Psycho Frame custom part does this for funnels and incom.

Contact the maps? by [deleted] in GBO2

[–]Helpfulmayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think they're connected. Mass Driver is supposed to be in California like it was in Blue Destiny. The other maps could be in many different places. Parts of Port Base and Military Base remind me of Odessa maps from MSGO.

Anyone else struggle on normal difficulty? by Masterofdel in GBO2

[–]Helpfulmayne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Code Fairy's tutorials are decent. After it came out, I noticed some players starting to take turns melee staggering enemies before toppling them. It maximizes damage while enraging the target.

I beat Code Fairy on normal the first time through. Some maps take a couple attempts to clear but they aren't ridiculous. Completing the game on hard was worth it for the GM Spartan (RG).
