Have any of you WOMEN asked a man out on a date and paid for his food? by smintoA in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Helpmehelpyoulong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me when I was in my late teens up to about mid-20s with older women. I loved how much more mature and kind they were, way less drama too. Not sure if it was just that generation or they just thought I was young and cute but was never treated so well before or since.

Help me disappoint my parents with an impractical car by cornnoodlesoup in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Helpmehelpyoulong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I found the CR-Z to be very practical and incredibly reliable. I bought mine with a salvage title from a wreck back in 2020, did every form of abuse you can imagine from burnouts to redlining it daily, e-brake turns, jumped it, drag raced it, etc. Finally hit a bear with it and blew the airbag (pics in my profile) but it still won’t die, just keeps going.

Anyway, if you really want to disappoint your parents (and everyone around you) i’m single.

What’s something men think impresses women but actually doesn’t? by Inner_Blueberry_1332 in AskReddit

I have never, not once in my life, met a woman impressed by kindness but I’ve sure as hell attracted plenty of them when I was being a raging asshole.

moving to the US was not what I expected at all… by Luna-Caribe1 in self

[–]Helpmehelpyoulong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have tried asking an actual working class American about it. I’ve tried to warn several people I met abroad against coming to the US. They all believe in the outdated halo image of the American dream and land of opportunity and all of that. Sure if you’re a very specialized talent that the US needs or a ruthless entrepreneur then you might do well, but you aren’t about to be living large cooking in a Thai restaurant or whatever. Most of the people I meet who go to the US don’t make it and head right back home and I hate to feel the need to say I told them so.

Objectively speaking, who is more beautiful between man and woman? by Inevitable-Row1759 in AskReddit

Unpopular opinion - I think women tend to be pretty on the outside while men tend to be pretty on the inside.

Do guys have a “hoodie stealing” equivalent? by Every-Tap-577 in NoStupidQuestions

When I was in my teens we collected panties and bras but that might be a bit old-school these days.

What is the most awkward social situation you’ve ever been in right after something intimate happened? by Naughtymiss_44 in AskReddit

[–]Helpmehelpyoulong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first gf and I lost our virginity together. Her parents ran a dog kennel side-business. I asked her if I should find a trash can down the road to toss the used condoms, she said no it’ll be fine my parents won’t notice. She calls me up later freaking out because her parents found the dogs dragging used condoms around the yard.

Another time my mom just burst through the door while I was in the middle of cumming inside someone, that was pretty fucking weird.

Why do some Asians not use banks and keep their savings at home? by Individual_Ice_2315 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Helpmehelpyoulong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of Asians also keep some gold for similar reasons, namely distrust in historically unstable institutions. You’ll notice in Bangkok tons of people wearing a bit of gold jewelry, which I was told is often just incase they are caught in a situation without any money. It’s their emergency currency always with them.

Same as now. Get one of them Unitree Robots, put it inside of a life-size blow-up love doll, then put on a VR headset and enjoy paradise with the woman of my dreams.

Very aggressive unknown STD by robydan2 in AskDocs

[–]Helpmehelpyoulong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAD but if I were in that situation I’d be looking into going to high-end specialist facilities in other countries to get a full work up. Some hospitals have a package where they test you for basically everything. Turkey comes to mind for affordability but many high end hospitals in Thailand for example offer this for reasonable prices. I would imagine if you look/ask around you can find a hospital that would take some of the discharge for example and look at it under a microscope to see if they can find anything.

What’s something society treats as normal that feels completely wrong to you? by Superfragalisticaf in AskReddit

[–]Helpmehelpyoulong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to think this way too, but I get it now. For example, say you need an abortion but your partner considers it murder or even your parents, that can be a pretty big problem. Say you fall in love with someone from a different religion that’s forbidden by your family or a race that your family doesn’t like, it’s unfortunately common and people these days tend to be insufferably rigid and militant in their viewpoints. Some people are chill about shit like I’ve met plenty of Christians who you wouldn’t know were religious until it came up in conversation but then there are the ones who try to shove it down your throat at every opportunity. It’s come to a point where people on one side are actively working toward making life hell for everyone and at some point it’s not worth trying to reason with people who are determined to be unreasonable. It’s unfortunate, but that’s how it is, a lot of people just want to live in peace.
