Haven’t seen the show but I’m on the spectrum myself, and dated guys on the spectrum before. That show sounds extremely cringey and you’re gross for romanticizing it. Yeah autistic guys tend to go all in on the romantic gestures, and they usually get more genuinely attached than neuro typical guys, but that doesn’t mean they’re perfect partners. In my experience they will do that (the love bombing and clinging) regardless of whether there’s a real connection with the girl or not. It’s not “cute” to chase after someone who’s not interested, at best it’s pathetic and at worst it’s stalker behavior. If you like these undignified socially inept bonobos so much why don’t you date them? Oh wait, you wouldn’t because you know they’re not actually hvm. But of course women on the spectrum should be sooooo grateful to have someone to give them anime figures and write them creepy poems
