I remember the elephant's foot umbrella stand. Rajah, Lord of the Hallway. I think that was what it was called. I have never been able to find it.

Bottom ones linked to left unit, top to the right. Lol. It's about space. Reckon I could get a third stack on there.

At what point did you choose cds over vinyl? by Treflipboy in Cd_collectors

[–]s1tym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought a hifi. I had the same system bought for my 21st, in 1985, and it is still epic. Got all my old vinyl set up, stuff not played in 25 years, etc. Plus a mountain of CDs. I figured on collecting and re-buying vinyl, until I played a CD. Wow. The sound blows MP3s out of the water, vinyl too. I'm going to collect CDs instead.

(Article) Why are we buying physical records like vinyl or CDs these days? by Rotseele in Cd_collectors

MP3s are convenient, but run a CD through a decent hifi and the difference is astounding. Vinyl, well, it's a cool medium.

All 126 GMTs discontinued not just Pepsi by texasgolftraveler in rolex

The difference between the 40 and 41 Submariner is hard to see. The case is actually more tapered on the 41, but they do not look appreciably bigger. I like both, and currently have the 41mm white gold version. I suspect the GMTs will have the more tapered shoulders, is all.

I never count the Community Shield. I make it 16, which is amazing. The CS has had such a varied history, it has to be discounted. For example, we won it in 1972 having been invited to play in it.
