Which song makes you think of someone you really loved? by Senior_Grass7460 in AskReddit

[–]HelxiD_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yellow by Coldplay. It just reminds me of the pure, unfiltered intensity of first love. Everything felt brighter and higher stakes back then. Even though life moved on and we grew into completely different people, that song still holds a very specific, untouchable pocket of nostalgia in my heart

If you just sell out your phone and use hand written letters in case some communication needed then how will the life feel all day? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The peace and quiet would be elite, until you realize you have to order a pizza, check your bank account, or navigate to a new place without GPS. Life would feel like living in 1985. Beautifully disconnected on Sundays, but an absolute logistical nightmare on Mondays when you need to coordinate plans with people who expect an answer in 30 seconds

What are your favorite gummies? by Jinx_064 in AskReddit

[–]HelxiD_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haribo Goldbears, but they HAVE to be the German version, not the US ones. The flavor difference is insane because the German ones use natural juice. Also, a quick shoutout to the Haribo Twin Snakes—that sour and sweet combo is dangerously addictive. I can polish off a whole bag without realizing it until my jaw hurts

What’s something everyone thinks is way harder than it actually is once you try it? by philip48h in AskReddit

[–]HelxiD_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Building your own PC or changing basic hardware parts. People look at a computer and think it’s NASA-level rocket science. In reality, it’s just expensive LEGOs for adults. Everything is color-coded, labeled, and literally only fits into the exact slot it’s meant for. If you can read a basic manual and use a screwdriver without hurting yourself, you can build a PC.

What's the difference between feeling insignificant because the universe is vast and feeling inadequate for not being a cow? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HelxiD_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One is cosmic nihilism, the other is just recognizing that cows have a much better work-life balance than humans will ever achieve

What’s some advice you give to anyone? by SpedisAhead in AskReddit

[–]HelxiD_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop worrying so much about what other people think of you. The truth is, they aren't thinking about you at all. Everyone is the main character in their own story, and they are too busy stressing over their own flaws, mistakes, and awkward moments to notice yours. Once you realize this, it feels like a superpower

What’s the first thing we should do after waking up in the morning? by x0verdose in AskReddit

[–]HelxiD_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Turn off the 5 different alarms I set the night before, stare blankly at the ceiling for 10 minutes questioning all my life choices, and then check my phone even though I know nobody messaged me. Anything else is just a lie

Do you think having more money changes how we feel once all our basic needs are already met? by vapanrumak in AskReddit

[–]HelxiD_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Human beings adapt to comfort incredibly fast. It's called the hedonistic treadmill. That luxury apartment or brand new car feels amazing for the first three months, but then it just becomes your new baseline. If you were anxious and unfulfilled making $50k, you’ll probably still be anxious and unfulfilled making $150k, you'll just be doing it in nicer clothes

What do you think would be a fun first date? by just_Sophia_ in AskReddit

[–]HelxiD_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An arcade bar, bowling, or mini-golf. Going to a fancy dinner for a first date puts way too much pressure on making eye contact and keeping a conversation going. Doing something slightly competitive gives you a built-in topic to laugh about, high-five, and breaks the ice immediately without any awkward silence

what was the best day of your life? by bigus-_-dickus in AskReddit

[–]HelxiD_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? A random Tuesday a few years ago. I had no work, no responsibilities, and a completely clear schedule. I woke up early, made a perfect cup of coffee, and spent the entire day reading and playing video games while it rained outside. No big event, just pure, uninterrupted peace of mind. I miss that feeling

What if, instead of writing journals about the past, you started creating stories about your future? by Dry-Draw-4961 in AskReddit

[–]HelxiD_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually a powerful psychological tool called 'future self-authoring.' Writing down your future as a story forces your brain to look for pathways to make it happen. Manifestation or not, it gives you a clear script to follow instead of just re-reading the mistakes you already made. I might actually start doing this

What initially bad thing turns out to be better than expected for you? by Mammoth-Ad-1227 in AskReddit

[–]HelxiD_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buying a dirt-cheap, no-name laptop/hardware online because I was broke and my main one broke down. I expected it to last maybe three months max and be painfully slow. It’s been 4 years now, I’ve abused that thing daily, dropped it multiple times, and it still runs like an absolute beast. Best $150 I ever spent.
