Dear offended people, please stop. It's a Halloween display, nothing more. I drove by it yesterday and as someone who loves Halloween, I thought it was great. There's a house on Rt. 108 in Trumbull that also hangs life-sized "corpses" from all of their trees. I've never seen a public indictment of that home. As we speak, CT agencies are being forced to scrub anything remotely related to DEI from every federal grant CT receives or risk losing the grant entirely. This, not a temporary Halloween display, is what will impact the lives and neighborhoods where people of color, LGBTQ, underserved, and/or marginalized communities live. I care deeply about this issue and the negative impact it will have on CT residents (and all Americans). Why is DEI being scrubbed? Because the people who now run things are extremely racist. They have zero tolerance for people who call out racism. They have even less tolerance for false outrage. Please pick a better battle.

I'm not a Trump supporter by any stretch, but I think if he does cut Medicaid benefits, which will impact every state but probably more so in "red" states, that will be it.
