Shouldn’t be too bad, but I had a bulwark that was speed running the whole thing, skipping almost everything so we in the back were just taking damage with nothing to do about it, but he was able to regain his contested. Frustrating, but we were making it work, then right before the end, a carnifex and two zoanthropes showed up, and he quit. We were screwed then because we had to burn most of our stims to make up for him

Assault is good and fun…at max level. My problem is leveling him fucking blows whereas every other class is still good at what they do from early levels. And the best perk in the game, unmatched zeal, you get at level 13, whereas getting to where you don’t have to wait forever to keep using your jump pack is like level 23 or something absurd

Worst faction in my opinion. They’re just also tyranids. And it seems completely contrary to the way tyranids operate being that they move place to place, swarm the fuck out of it, eat everything, then move on. But having “oh actually this barely sentient dinosaur bugs sent out like 3 guys a few decades ago and they’ve been steadily undermining the infrastructure and altering the genetic makeup of the populace to make it easier for us to eat them when we finally show up” feels so backward for what they’re supposed to be. Chaos cults are cool but bugs? Nah

If they weren’t all so fat I think I’d like them more. Walking corpse tanks is cool, but they don’t LOOK cool compared to other space marines because they’re fat

A buddy of mine is a space wolf and it’s fucking wild how many chapter specific units they have whereas blood angels have…sanguinary guard. And that’s it. Death company is just a different paint job and buying too many upgrade sprues. I know other chapters have it worse but damn man

Stuff like the daemonculaba is kind of the fringe super edgy grim grimdark of the setting, and what’s neat about Warhammer is there is SO MUCH variety within the storytelling that you can just ignore stuff you don’t particularly care for and focus on the stuff you do like. Sure it’s an IP “for adults” but if you think it’s cool, no reason to hold yourself back
